I have no plans of having a high volume stringing business, but I would like to string a few racquets a week for other people. I use Pro Supex Big Ace myself, so I will already have that on hand for anyone else who is interested. Aside from that I was thinking of keeping a synthetic gut in stock, maybe either PSGD, Gosen OG Micro, or Pro Supex Titan, and maybe one other type of string. Anyone have any recommendations? Should I just buy 16g?

Gosen OG Micro is a good one. My customers love the stuff for its crispness, feel and ok durability for a softer string. PSGD is the biggest selling string on the planet...when I worked in our local pro shop its all people wanted.

You could also get a reel of Pro Supex Maxim Touch. For the price its alot of string...I like it more than NXT and X-One. Again ive got quite a few customers hooked on this stuff.

Its always useful to have a few packs of luxilon, PHT etc around.

Def. the Gosen OG Micro and a simple synthetic gut or a good poly. I use either Pro Supex w/ spirel flex or PSGD.

Pro Supex Spiral Flex plays fairly similar to PSGD but costs much cheaper. It is stiffer than Titan.

    Gosen OG Micro
    PSGD
    Wilson Sensation

although it is cheaper to get PSGD and Sensation by the packs sometimes. For poly, I would say poly polar.

Somewhat competent people seem to love "name" strings as that is what they see in stores.

I'm all about Kirschbaum Competition. It's a great bang for your buck poly reel, and my favorite poly overall.

Prince doesn't give you much of a break buying reels. Wilson Stamina is approx 25% cheaper by the reel. So that's one I'd keep. Big Ace is a good poly to keep.
