Weird. I must have put on a couple lbs. lol. by casual I mean like beaters. Around the house work stuff etc. walking around I have Nike free 5.0 and they're incredible, most comfortable shoes ever.

I've heard nothing but amazing things about the aasics. Always meant to try them but can't get away from the Nike.

My favorite shoe is the Nike Vapor IV.

A very close second is the Nike Vapor V.

The Vapor 9 is really good also, but I would love for Nike to bring the Vapor IV or V back.

This is the second time you have reiterated you don't like the Barricade 2. We get it. Unfortunately not everyone agrees with you. You wont change anyones opinion repetitively repeating yourself.

Nike Air Monarch. Great cushioning, easy on the feet and doesn't break down too quick.

For $50 buy em, wear 2 pairs of socks, and lace them tight.

I'm very heavy myself (220-230 Lbs at 6'2") so maybe the air buble was just a fluke in your case?

I don't know about Asics, tried GR5s, gave me a minor injury that haunted me 2.5 months (pains in the balls of my feet after the first ladder match, 2 hours long- but no problems whatsover rallying with the shoes before that, for a couple of weeks? Very fast shoes mind you, but also with some lateral stability issues...). I had to go back to Nike air (CB) and cursed myself for ever "getting away from Nike" :D I also wear quality insoles now (Dr Scholl's active and I've tried a couple more), just in case + comfort and stability.

Worth it. Wear two pair socks and/or throw in a custom orthotic like superfeet, etc. I often use shoes 1/2 to 1 size large... unless you are saying you already do that and it's still too big? Yea, I happened to buy some 2k11's at a big box store for cheap recently. Good to see them still floating around, guess it's time to stock up!

Odd, had pain between my toes and the balls of my feet when wearing Asics too. Never had this problem with any other shoe

    Not a tennis shoe?

Bummer, I've been wearing them to play tennis in for the last 10 years. Maybe that's why my backhand sucks. The instructors have been taking my money and not telling me what my real problem is!!!

Nah, that never worked for me. I like my shoes to fit.....when I've tried a roomier shoe and thick socks or double socks I always end up disappointed because I can still feel my feet moving around in the shoes.:(

Neither did I and the pain got away with Nike CBs 4.3.

Spot on btw, I still have some lingering pain between my toes, at least the one on the balls of my left foot is gone...

Are you as heavy as Ronaldo is now? :) Cause I might be lol

As heavy as his dad may be. No other shoe gives that foot pain. Could be the hardcourts and artificial turf too. 10-14 hrs/wk

Wow, hardly any mentions of the Nike Air Breathe Free II?

I thought everyone thought that was the greatest tennis show of all time? I do. :)

Just once? That's hard to believe.

I would have expected almost all of the 170+ posts to mention the BFII.

I had them in the color shown in the picture. They seemed fairly fast, but were too narrow for me. They did fit close to the foot given the way the tongue was attached to the shoe almost like a sock.

Not a bad shoe, but not the best for me.

BF2 was an awesome shoe comfort and fit wise but it just was not very durable. Went through my pair pretty darn quick.

Gotta go old school... Adidas Stan Smith. The most iconic Tennis kicks ever.

I probably went through a dozen or more pairs back in the day. It was probably was the worst shoe for actually playing tennis in (even my Nike waffles were better). Nice comfortable walking/lounging shoes though. Once in a while I see the real old guys at my club playing in a crispy new pair.

Borg- those looked like some fantastic shoes. I'm close to purchasing but the look of the heel lift is concerning. How uneven is the ground from heel to forefoot?
