Double Core balls suck. They don't bounce very well, the sound flat from the start, and they are just poor quality compared to the best (ie. Slazenger not Dunlop). In the end, Double Core = crapola.

You're right K!ck5w3rvE, spoke to my tennis shop guy and he said there really hard, really dead, and no they are not good. He said you may as well use trainer balls which aren't pressurised. And so despite their claim I doubt they are used in Davis Cup.

Must have had my head under a rock.

I had a couple of tubes once and I'd say 3 out of 8 weren't even close to being round.

Waste of money if you ask me. Some flat ball strikers will love them because they are very hard and feel like rocks when you are returning them. Players who like to add spin, touch and finesse to their play should look elsewhere.

They are the official Davis cup ball but the players always choose Penn ATP here in Spain

Penn balls are even worse. I've never used the ATP's, but still....
