I know I know, I just can't be bothered to multiply 70 * 5 and say that he lost 350 entry points.
This shows 2 things, Nadal still has alot of work on the harcourts still, also Moya played a fantastic 2 sets after that bad first set.Lets give credit to Moya here, it was not Nadal's play, it was Moya's play.
Nadal grinds more of his matches, so thats true Moose.
Yes it will help him not be #1 this year and not win 11 titles again.
Moya wins; great result, I wish it was televised! Go Carlos....
I don't know about that. Didn't see the match, but Moya doesn't seem capable of beating anyone 61,61(except Donald Young) That score just doesn't happen that often at this level.
And Nadal never goes down easily. Wouldn't be surprised if there's something else going on (injury/illness etc)
Nadal's stats:15 winners/26 unforced errors
Who's going to stop Fed now? Nalby has a number of guys that could give him a hard time in his half of the draw.
Might help him win the French again though.
Hey Moose, just look at the stats. It seemed like Moya had alot of flat forehand winners, u paying attention Roger?
Now Federer better not get upset by Clement or Haas! This is Fed's chance to leave Nadal way the hell behind so stupid people here won't even say that Nadal has an outside chance of being #1 this year.
That Haas match could be tricky, nothing is easy in this tournament.
Yep I bet his ankle still hurts. 26 errors is very unusual for Nadal. I am very very surprised.
Moya had 24 errors, so that goes out the window.I dont buy it, he won the first set easily, 6-2.
Well one thing is for sure. Moya knows Nadal very well. They played so many times together. Practised together for years. Plus Moya likes slow surface as well. FO winner. AO finalist. So Moya isn't exactly easy to beat here. Still I never expected him to win a set. Totally shocked.
www.vamosrafael.com doesn't mention any injury in their short description of the match. Maybe it was just a case of a good day for Moya and a bad day for Nadal. Might be that simple.
Does she follow Rafa in all his tournaments?
Not all. I don't think she was in Dubai.
It is hard to believe but if Fed doesn't get to the semi in Miami then Nadal will again get closer to him in total points. So come on Fed don't freaking lose before the semi!
I'm waiting for the onslaught of excuses from Nadal fans. Oh he's only 19, he'll do much better next year. Oh Nadal, was tired from last weeks tournament. Oh, Nadal got some bad line calls. So, what will the excuse be this time, tlm? Hmmmm? Sorry, tlm, I had to call you out.
Fernando Gonzalez beats Stanislas Wawrinka, 3-6, 6-2, 7-6
Santoro is playing Kiefer now, Kiefer won the first set on a tie-breaker, 7-6, Santoro is up 3-0 in the second set.
Santoro is up 4-0 in the second, looks like a 3 setter.
Edit: funny my post was not.
Santoro just took the second set, 6-2
hahahhahahahha Nadal lost
anyway, mentor beat mentoree.
Wonder how many of his challenges Kiefer has used up so far in his match?
None, since it's on court 8. Only the stadium has replay.
makes me think about his defeat vs gaudio last year at buenos aires :
gaudio won 06 60 61 !
but well, i didn't see any of these matches...
Kiefer defeats Santoro, 7-6, 2-6, 6-4.
Good win for Kiefer. He was 0-6 vs Santoro.
Florent Serra took the first set from Gasquet, 7-6
Federer-Clement will be live on espn 2 tomorrow at 3 pm eastern(we'll see how he likes instant replay)
Li-Sharapova will be on at 8.
I wonder if Safin was thinking about it in his match.
I wanna see someone way down (like 30-love, 5-0 in the 3rd) challenge on a ball that's not even close just to be an ass. Might as well use them if you have them. The crowd reaction would be great.
Wonder if Safin even used his.
Did Gasquet pulled out with an injury? Its been stuck on 7-6 Serra.
WTF, it says play suspended for the Gasquet match and the other matches are going on, is it raining only on court 6?hahahahaha:mrgreen:
Probably no lights on that court.
Florent Serra beats Richard Gasquet, 7-6, 6-3, Gasquet is very up and down, all these french players are.
Paul Goldstein takes the first set from Nalbandian, 6-3.
Nalbandian is making a ton of errors.
Ever since playing in that McEnroe match Goldstein has been playing surprisingly well...
Its 5-5 in the second set, Goldstein might have just choked the match, he was up 40-15, 2 match points and couldnt do nothing with it, lets see if he gets past this.
Nalbandian takes the second set, 7-5, ouch! That hurts for Goldstein, Nalbandian has played like crap, lots of unforced errors.
1-0 Nalbandian, 3rd Set
Why if Federer looses before semi, Nadal will come close in total points?
Please explain why Indesit ATP Rangkings can be reduced?
Goldstein up a break 2-1 in the 3rd set, by the way, Nalby has 56 unforced errors in this match
Nalby breaks back, if Nalby wins this match, he really dodged one, Goldstein hasnt exactly played a good match, he is feasting on David's errors.
David up 3-2 in the 3rd, on serve.
I like Nalbandian to win. Goldstein blew it when he was serving for the match at 5-4 in the 2nd set.
