OK 1st round of ITA team indoor championships start at Stanford taking on UNC- Wilmington at 12pm Pacific time on Jan 29th and continues with 2nd round on Jan 30th. Then it is time for the meaty part of the tournament at University of Virginia as host site. Sorry but Virginia does not have the Webcam this year on their Indoor fascility. We just have to follow the Live scoring.....Oh well. but you can watch the 1st round on Stanford webcam tomorrow pm and cheer for the Cardinal.

USC is definitely going to win this year.
They have virtually the same team as last year, plus more in JT Sundling.
Stanford has no chance this year.
All they have is Klahn and Clayton and...that's about it.
Don't expect Matt Kandath to come to the rescue.

Your logic doesn't wash. Klahn can kill Farah and Clayton can handle Steve Johnson. and Matt Kandath can nail down Kecki. and Thacher + Wire to round out the squad. that is a unbeatable team right there..

Fedace has inside information as he says he knows "Coach Whit" and "has taken the boys out to breakfast". Besides, his predictions are always 100% spot on!

Your logic doesn't wash at all.
You say this about your players every year...yet the same results occur.
I would like to know why Klahn and Clayton couldn't handle the trojans last year.
Give up, once Klahn and Clayton are gone, they'll have nobody.

Don't think singles have been played yet.
That boy Clayton can play (he's the righty right?).
Watching the live video from the courts, might head down there just to see in the flesh!

Alex Clayton is back in black! and he wants revenge

6-0 5-1 . What a way to welcome guests... Nearly double bageled before lunch time. I feel a little sorry for his opponent.

Surprising loss of concentration there by Alex... but to be fair, there was no challenge. He was toying with the poor guy, and just let 2 games go.

    6-0 6-2 win.

The second I say that Thacher gets broke. lol

EDIT: I think Stanford will probably win the whole thing. There team is just way to deep. When a player like Clayton is #2 that tells you something about the team.

Yes, and when the #2 players for USC and Virginia are ranked #1 (Steve Johnson) and #3 (Michael Shabaz) in the ITA rankings, that tells you something about those teams.

FSU LiveStats show a nailbiter versus Wisconsin.

Clint Bowles was up 6-3 in the 2nd set tiebreak, about to close out the match for FSU, when Patrick Pohlmann won 5 points in a row.

Ranking means nothing this early in the season. Even Clayton can cream the #1 player steve Johnson in straight sets.....:)

No. 9 Men's Tennis Coasts Past No. 57 UNC Wilmington 6-1 In ITA Kick-Off Opener. What a headline. Now No 45 Oklahoma state is next. This will be tougher than it looks. Oklahoma boasts 3 players in top 100. but Stanford should squeak thru this one.

USC and UCLA start their men's matches for Indoor Kick off tomorrow morning. USC plays Vanderbilt in the first round, UCLA plays Hawaii. I couldnt find if USC had a twitter, but UCLA has http://twitter.com/uclatennis if anyone of you guys are using that nowadays. They both have live scoring too.

Also, check out a cool video featured in the LA Times with UCLA player and songwriter Holden Seguso here: http://www.uclabruins.com/sports/m-tennis/spec-rel/012910aab.html

Just as i predicted. Stanford Kicking butt and showing no mercy at all positions except at #2 spot. Alex started out slow as he sometimes does.

I think Winning in dominating fashion would be an understatement of the year. Stanford advance to the main tournament at Virginia. Blows away Oklahoma 7-0. Even Alex came back and won easily at #2 spot. Rest of the division 1 may not even show up for the rest of the tournament after seeing this dominating performance by Stanford.

What the f*ck is "farcy"? I don't think you have the right to call someone an idiot when you can't even spell the word Farsi correctly, but that's just me. Maybe at "Standford", they teach you differently.

USC is a great team. They won NCAA last year and were (still are?) ranked number 1. However, Stanford beat them last year and they have a stronger team today than 1 year ago, so that should be an exciting race for the NCAA title and for the number 1 spot.

OK, USC is playing Yale. Can't tell by the scoreboard but the Video is working. USC won the doubles point, now singles to begin. If USC wins then they are off to Virginia for the main event.

This #1 guy from Yale named V powers is a great player. He is staying right there with Steve Johnson from USC and treating Steve's serve like it is nothing... he returns like Agassi

Marc Powers, a good all court player. He won a 18s National Open Doubles with my son a year ago. Who won the USC-Yale matches?
