I string my racket with Babolat pro hurricane tour on the mains and have used a lot of different strings on the crosses but have not liked many of them. Should I try natural or synthetic gut?

What don't you like about the cross strings you have tried?

natural gut last longer than synthetic gut....
there are some extra durable gut in the market such as armourpro and pacific tough gut.....
putting gut in main instead of cross will give you more playability....

It lasts 2 months more for me.
    Syn: 2 months
    Nat: 4 months

    BTW, this is Tonic +.

I use reaction now because It doesn't break the bank and I needed something that is less powerful because I'm getting stronger.

    Heavy topspin all-courter.

Natural gut is good if you can afford it. For an average player, if gut it used it should mainly be used in the mains, because the feel of gut is not truly there in the crosses, although it is a bit more noticable.

Let me put it this way:
My (almost) 11 y.o. son breaks synthetic cross string first in the Wilson Gut/PSGD hybrid.
And that is on the 18x20 frame (FXP Prestige MP).

    Regards, Predrag
