KD's not a closer? Today's fourth quarter was all about a superstar with a killer instinct!

KD stepped up. But it feels to me like OKC worked really hard for that win and Memphis was a little out of sorts.

If Martin can keep stepping up like that though OKC has a chance.

Ibaka has not stepped up since westbrook injury. His 13 and 8 needs to be 18 and 11 for them to in this series.

    some great games this weekend.

1 - why does it feel like OKC stole a game 1 on their own floor?

2 - d-rose saying he's "not comfortable" has to pizz his teammates off. think noah is comfortable running around on his one good foot, or deng getting a spinal tap, even nate rob throwing up on the bench. i really dislike the bulls but i rooted for them in game 7. what a bunch of warriors. rose comes out looking like a prima donna in all of this.

No doubt. Guys been a closer since day 1 of being in the league.

Agree what someone said about Noah too. Hes already way better than most people ever thought he could be in the NBA and does everything it takes to help his team win and is doing it way under 100%.

Noah is the new Willis Reed! After Game 1 vs the Nets, I thought Thib should have closed him down bcoz of the injury factor AND he wasn't effective. He sure turned around to be key in the series win.

So, if anyone in the East can figure a way to slow the Heat's path to the Finals, I'll take Thib and his band of wounded brothers.

Just imagine if the bulls manage to take out the heat, without Rose...
What an upset it would be for Lebron

It will be an upset if the Bulls win more than 1 game.

I think game 3 CHI wins. But a sweep is possible.

Unfortunately he did. It was during a hallway interview by the TNT crews right before Game 7 against the Nets.

The Knicks are in trouble, my friends. They are in some SERIOUS doo-doo! David West is 6' 10" and pissed off. Roy Hibbert 7' 2" - solid, powerful force. Psycho T great bench player and as physical as you'll get in today's NBA. And Paul George, George Hill, Lance Stevenson. Great team that has a chance to eviscerate New York!

People are going to say the Heat has had a long layoff, please.

I'm just amazed by the heart of this Chicago Bulls team.

Gotta love Little Nate. Honestly D Rose just shut it down right now, because Nate and Jo are obviously the heart and soul of the team right now.

Hahahaha, gotta love them Bulls. Rooting for them to go all the way.

Now, if only GS could take out the Spurs.

Amazing how a top college shooter can go to the pros, totally lose it shot, and never find it again.

    Chris Webber on "hack-a-player" tactic:

"People are going to say it's ugly basketball, and I'd tell those people to go to the gym and learn to shoot a free throw."

"Look at Tim Duncan, his free throws have gotten so much better. So I don't want to hear no excuse, I'm a big guy so I can't shoot."

That means you Dwight Howard, or stop crying about max contracts.

Hows about AndreisBiedrins, 6'11", recieving a 10 mil a year contract, shooting 42% on his freethrows, and getting worse by the years.

He's not a PR nightmare that is Dwight Howard, is he? But Biedrins' contract was a mistake from the get go.

This series will be so much fun to watch.

Surgical execution vs. video games shooting.

Stop trolling. This is the NBA thread, NBA fans don't have to be NHL fans and by and large aren't NHL fans. Please keep the NHL stuff in the NHL thread. Thank you.

Yeah, can we please stop it with the NHL? There's a thread for that on the fisrt page of Odds and Ends.

I thought I had finally escaped all NHL talk after leaving PA.....

I know I did when it went in :)

Two great games last night, the Warriors have been so entertaining all season, it's good to see them bringing it in the playoffs too.

I hate games like that. Mainly I hate the Spurs, but that is just so disappointing. Golden State outplayed the Spurs virtually the entire game, and up by 12 with less than 4 minutes to play? How in the hell do you blow that lead?

Great opener though by GSw. They know they can hang with the Spurs. Hopefully blowing that lead won't hurt their psyche.

LOVED that Bulls win. My god Nate Robinson is a big timer.

i still think joakim is crazy goofy but he's a heck of a player. and it's even crazier that nate rob is the bulls 3rd string PG making just over $1 mil this season. comically underpaid for what he's brought them this year.

i guess the good news for miami is that they played about as poor as they have all season and lost by 4. still think miami in 5 or 6.

and why didn't anyone tell me warriors/spurs was going to be epic?! i went to bed at halftime and woke up to some crazy highlights.
