I don't know what your point is. You're just rambling and arguing with yourself.

Chris Paul did not Del Negro. Its as simple as that. MGMT did but the superstr runs the show.

Paul does not to run and gun uptempo all the time. Griffin and Jordan cant play that style yet. Del Negro was trying to get Paul to adapt to the roster, but Pzaul wants evryone to adapt to him.

Hollins Wanted what Grizzlies thought was too much they mutally parted ways. Hollins will get Clips or Nets job and pleantly of cash. Grizz will fill job from withing most likely.

Carlisimo may go back to Spurs bench again. Wouldnt surprise me.

Karl kept getting knocked out in the first round. Just like VDN, he ran into a difficult 1st round matchup.

Yep, Chris Paul wanted Del Negro canned so they fired him and now Pauls unhappy that people realize hes the one who got the coach fired. These dam players are the biggest babies on earth. "You better fire this coach if you want me to resign here bet you also better make it clear that I had nothing to do with his firing, even though I am the only reason hes getting fired."

Ignore list. He's a troll that "dislikes" the NBA yet can't stop himself from commenting on the NBA THREAD.

This thread got a little heated didn't it, I thought we were supposed to say classy. That's what Rafa would do.

    *yawn*

only 8 hours til tip off. these 9pm starts suck because it's midnight by the time the game is over.

george karl and vinny i think are seen as good, solid coaches. but at some point it can't be just bad luck for them that they flame out in round 1 of the playoffs. after a few mulligans -- it's your fault.

i think the spurs eek out a close one at home. i don't expect parker/duncan/manu to all suck at home at the same time.

Karl has been around long enough to have a track record.

Vinny has not. He looks lost most of the time and does dumb stuff.

But Doc Rivers was the same way. The Celtics stayed the course and had faith and got repayed with a title. It's not easy to coach, manage minutes, and do all that other stuff. Thats what Impresses me about Spoelstra. He really knows what he is doing and figured it our faster than most guys.

Vinny stinks. He is a terrible in game coach. There's not many guys that get better at that over time. You either have it or you don't, and he doesn't. Somehow CP is being made the martyr and ignores the fact that Vinny's a dime a dozen coach at best who won't win anything major in the NBA.

I think you can improve in that regard. Look back at Doc Rivers after year two in Boston

Doc had no talent in those early years in Boston. It was a team in rebuilding. Then they trade for the Big 3 (or big 2 in Garnett/Allen) and the rest is history.

I think the Clips underachieved given the talent they have. Bulls also underachieved under Vinny. It's one thing to lose bc of lack of talent, quite another to have the talent and not succeed because of poor coaching, which is usually the case w/ Vinny-coached teams.

Seriously, the guy goes from not playing to being a consistent contributor in a flash. That's hard to do.

San Antonio ended the half hot! 6 points in the last ~20seconds!

And they're turning the Heat into a jump shooting team. That's a winning formula.

But holy crap, Mike Miller is shooting the Heat into this game. :)

    Bosh just flopped again.

Worst ive seen the heat play since 2004.

Lebrons level has dropped so much he's playing like KD.

Love how Neal averages 1.3 3's a game. Has 6 tonight.

That's how San Antonio Spurs play. Pop has a great system and they just beat you with a bunch of no names. :)

But when one team is shooting 3s like that, I'm not sure who can stop them.

Lets be real here, it's not "system" when a bad 3 point shooter hits 6 in one game. It's not "system" that made him average 1.3 3's a game. It's "buddy got hot".

Must be Pop's system that made buddy hit from half court.

Yeah but most of these looks are wide open 3s. It's one thing to shoot over people's hands and make tough fadaways, the Spurs are getting wide open looks out of extra passes.

Half and half. If two oppositions are playing against one another, you can't get this wide open and hold one team responsible.

Well, just chalk this one up to one of these days... Neal will probably go 1/3 from 3 next game and all will be back to normal.

Hope the heat can bounce back strong. Stats show they do so let's hope.

Buddy went 35% this season, but fine we'll call him average or a bit above average.

And for the system talk, I believe they have a good system, duh, all I'm saying is tonight I'm 30% system and 70% they got hot.

Don't remember seeing two players from the same team shooting three points balls that well....... unfortunately, it likely means that the next match is completely open

    Aside from the hot shooting...

52-36 rebound differential. 19 offensive boards for the Spurs. Definitely not going to cut it for the Heat.

Is there anything better than the Spurs in full flight? They might not have the whole lob city thing going on, but the ball movement and the way they snipe it from 3 point range is incredible.

Yeah Neal/Green won't shoot like that again, but LeBron was absolutely shut down. Spurs have no problem doubling him since Wade/Bosh are shells of themselves. They have to step it up or else it may be over in 5.

Maybe resting your starters during the regular season is more important than the streak, eh?
