Spurs are the only team that can rotate thru 8 players.
BUT, possibly due to 3 old farts, that still garner respect from the young guys.
Pops is always a candidate for coach of the year, able to incorporate young or new parts into the system.

Nice ad hominem attack. :) You guys are really good at fallacious (pseudo) arguments. :)

You'd have to have a below moron IQ not to understand that the nba is rigged. Here is just one small snippet of how corrupt the nba is. Stop throwing up stupid straw man complaints as a diversion.

    http://crooksandliars.com/david-neiwert/disgraced-nba-ref-spills-beans-about

Donaghy: I mean, there are situations, and the referees are trained in the fact that, obviously, you don't want to be throwing the stars out of the game, or you don't want to be giving a star a foul that you can give to somebody else who's in that area.

Van Susteren: You mean, you'd deliberately pick who you give the foul to? I mean, if there's a collision of players, you'd pick who you'd give the foul to?

    Donaghy: Sure.

Van Susteren: So that someone who might be near the limit on the fouls and who might be a star might not get it, but you'd give it to somebody else?

    Donaghy: Absolutely.

    Van Susteren: Deliberately?

    Donaghy: Deliberately.

It's as plain as day. Officiating is rigged to keep star players in the game. It doesn't take a genius then to figure out that by extension, the same favoritism applies to particular "marquee" high ratings draw teams as well as players.

You'd have to be completely deaf, dumb and blind not to recognize this.

On to your next argument: "there's no juicing in baseball, cuz, if you say it, you're like, a hater. Derp." SMH

How precious. You don't even watch the game, yet you are ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN there's no rigging, lol.

This thread just keeps on giving and giving. :)

Hehe, Grant Hill interviewing LeBron James during the All-Star Game, and Hill threw a little jab, LOL:

"This is the closest I've been to him and not have a foul called on me..." Burn!

The game itself is kind of boring though. LeBron James and Blake Griffin have already thrown down better dunks than last night.

I know Timmy wouldn't mind but how the heck was he not even been voted for ASG? Are they numb n@ts? They talk about KG not being there but excuse me, KG is not to be mentioned in the same breath as TD (TD went to the finals last season and this season is another one of them good ones)!

Sorry OP, I suppose you are KG's greatest supporter?;)

KG doesn't shine with stats and number, but it's like having a defensive coordinator on the floor/bench with you. Timmy has always been more of a "weapon".

At this stage of their career, I don't think neither KG or Timmy should be an All-Star. Honorary All-Star at best, I know they'll bring it come Playoffs.

And I am a KG fan, his heart and passion for his sport is unmatched regardless of his age.

At yesterday's ASG pace, anyone over 30 should get some popcorn, lemonade, and liniment and just watch. Bring back the Senior game

Duncan has been putting up double doubles pretty regularly again this year, yeah. As a Spurs fan it doesn't bother me too much, there are so many great, young players out there that I'd find hard to leave out.

That's what I am meaning to say (but wouldn't want to jinxed it), TD & co will bring it on come playoff time, so just out of respect vote him in, like KB24, they knew he isn't a go but got the nod anyway.

I wouldn't want to bring back the legends, snail versus centipede game?:) Don't even bother with the trey, just look no further to Karl Malone's heave at half court. Tacos and burritos dipped in gin and tonic for a good time at the ASG for the legends might be better.:)

Well to be honest, if Kobe was healthy to play, he would have made a bit more sense than KG or Tim Duncan. Kobe's skillset is more crowd pleasing than KG/Tim Duncan in a game played without defense...

But yeah, I didn't think Kobe should have been voted in. I don't think Wade should have been voted in either.

I don't like fan voting, just saying. The bench of every All-Star game almost always makes more sense to me than the starters.

You have a point, he's averaging 16 points and 10 rebounds this season. Certainly not starter worthy when there's Griffin and Love ahead of him, but you could make a good argument for him being on the bench over Dirk.

Haha yeah, for the last 2-3 years i've been expecting their game to finally drop off, but they're actually both still playing incredibly well. They've had to make adjustments and it's payed off.

61 for LBJ, what a night! I wonder when is he going to break Kobe's record or even Wilt's century?

And 50th double-double for Love, loved it!

KLove had 53 straight in '10-'11, which is less than a quarter of Wilt's longest streak.

Actually, I think they'd be just as effective as they ever were. Marc Gasol is what I would consider a modern-twist on the "classic" center. Big, strong 300-pounder that relies primarily on jump-hooks, drop-steps, and thunderous screen and rolls. But then he gives you the no-look passes and the smooth touch a la Bill Walton.

Actually thought of Memphis and Chicago and their team ppg but they are in the playoffs. Houston definitely blows this idea up with Superman.

I watched that Memphis/Chicago game last night on ESPN, it was awesome to see teams try to shut each other down with defense.

And honestly, if Memphis sneaks into the playoffs, I don't think anyone wants to play them.
