I don't see the Magic sending AA down there unless there is a 3 way trade involved that is undeniably good.

Your point is? There are plenty of other 30+ players with productive consistent play.

^ there are... but not all of them graduated Wade's School of Flying after the slightest contact ;) Maybe his constant flopping and "sacrificing" his body is catching up to him.

Let's just hope Indy won't melt when they face the Heat come playoffs.

And I hope TD can win ring number 5 before he hangs it up.

Dirk Nowitzki is pump-faking the hell out of the Warriors, haha.

And good thing Dallas has Monte Ellis now, because we know he's not going to pass the ball. :)

Ronaldo, easy there, it is still early in the season to celebrate (Blazers) but man 25 rebounds (31 points is required of him I guess:))?

Rumor has it that Lakers and Knicks are talking trades. Lakers would get Shumpert and Chandler. Both of which will help them tremendously with defense. Shumpert with perimeter defense, and Chandler with paint.

Knicks would get Pau Gasol and someone else?

Great game between the Trailblazers and the Pistons. Lilliard wins in last 2 seconds of OT. Pistons led by 11 after 3 qtrs.

Pau would benefit the Knicks more than Shumpert and Chandler would for the Lakers as a whole imo.

Probably a 2for 1. NBA trades have to be withing a certain threshold of equal salary I think.

Lets test this out the ESPN Trade Machine.

Awesome back-to-back, Trailblazers/Pacers for the Pistons, who give the Pacers their 1st home loss.

    What's Left In The Tank?

At 33, Pau Gasol's best seasons are behind him. What's his trade value now?

Pau's only value is that his contract expires :D Maybe if his new team lets him wear a spanish jersey under his game one, he'll play with fire and passion again. If im Lakers i let him walk (unless i can get cheap, young players or 1st round picks). Wouldn't take Shumpert and Chandler. One is always injured and the other one is a scrub (plays some decent D though). But still, with X and Wes on the Lakers squad, no need to get another player fighting for the playing time (plus Pringles doesn't like players that can't shoot) ;)

Ah that ''great offense is the best defense''?:) But I like their run and gun style back with the Sunnies, Nash was still at the peak of his powers then.:)

Lillard did it again tonight, nailing a three with 0.4 left. Portland won 119-116 against the Cavs.

Don't hate him at all. Just don't evaporate at the playoffs!

Will see in the playoffs but he is definitely making the big shots now. Good for the Blazers.

Pacers vs Heat: The Pacers are getting REALLY lucky with a bunch of lazy passes. They should have more turnovers than they have right now.

Annnnnnnnd you can always count on Stephenson to take a terrible shot. And I just love watching David West work in the post.

Kobe's out 6 weeks after a fracture in his lateral plateau. I do remember a player crashing into his left knee in the Grizzlies game.

That's just tough luck. Get better soon Kobe!

I just don't understand why the Bulls won't try to trade Carlos Boozer, he does next to nothing most of the time. Using tonight's game as an example: When your defensive stopper/clog in the middle (Jokim Noah) has a better scoring night than Carlos Boozer, who was SIGNED to be your low post threat, then you have a problem.

I thought Boozer with D-Will and of course Kirilenko did great together in Utah? What changed in his Bulls days up to now?:(

Hes just old and slow now.

He wont be part of future bulls plans. They probably should trade him to get some peices or some cap flexability

Fantasy Question: Should I drop Kobe? And if so, for who? I got people like Burks, Wroten, Lowry who are free agents. But it's not limited to just them.

I still think it was a dumb decision by Chicago to let go of Nate Robsinson given how strongly he performed in the playoffs.

Hes out till mid feb at least I'd say. Thats about 30 more games.

Dropping him would be justified I'd think.

The argument for keeping is that at if he does come back you know hes gonna jack the shots up and will score 40 a couple comes splash a couple more 20pters in there. Depending on how many teams in your league maybe there aint much depth left at that position. So if you can squekby with what you have Kobe would give your team a good late season option possibly.

If its me I drop him but mainly becuase he is my least favorite player of all times in any sport.

Did anyone else notice that most of the Christmas day NBA games were one-sided affairs? I mean Heat vs Lakers? Really? I know it was close but we all knew who was gonna win that one. Bulls and Nets. Thunder and Knicks. They would've been better games last year, but things have changed this year so it's actually funny to see some of these teams doing just awful. So much lack of effort from some of them.

I'm pretty sure they were betting on Kobe being in the game going 1 on 2 against LeBron and Wade. No one was expecting him to be injured.

Those two earlier games though... Come on New York teams.

Russell Westbrook just got a silent ban. :)

Good god, I sound dumb just typing that.

Hey, what are you trying to pull man? We've managed to suck it up since Willis' time, we definitely know how to wait another millenia.:)

At the rate they are going, Rose, Kobe, Westbrook, the whole roster of the vaunted Brooklyn Nets and Knicks, the lackadaisical Clippers...I wonder why nobody is accusing LBJ (No Wade? No problem!) of playing in the weak era?;-)

Don't worry about them, personally I wanted TD to get his ring number 5, period.

Either/or the Blazers/Pacers goes to the Finals against Spurs/Heat. Possible? Unlikely, yeah?

13/14 is very close to being an unmitigated disaster. I've never seen the EC as bad as it is now, and the rash of injuries to so many top tier players doubles the blow.

I check the nba schedule several times a week, and very rarely do I want to watch even a single game on any night's schedule.

The lack of basic, common sense precautions to protect players is just mind-boggling.

Blown ship strewn across the sea if that's what they're going to do.

Meanwhile, your Blazers is just getting better and better. Might bag the coach of the year, most improved player, even give LBJ a run for his money for the MVP honours.
