I primarily use gut (BDE, Bow, VS Tonic) in my nCode n6-1 95s. I'm always at the net and like soft strings. I've used Technifibre X-One biphase with good results, too.

Larry, how long does the VS Team last you at that gauge and tension?

Check the sig. I use the Rough to give me that extra spin because I mainly hit flat and less spinny. Xcel for comfort.

When I used them I strung them with Prince Synthetic with Duraflex near 60 lbs. Tamed some of the power and still felt pretty good.

I'm currently using a blindtest string and I LOVE it. I'm not sure what it is but it's similar to Luxilon.

I've tried a Multi/Poly combo and hated it, I used synthetics and it was decent but I'm LOVING the poly. I may try some natural gut after this just so I can say I tried everything, but I also don't feel like I will love anything more than my current setup.

    Oh yeah, I'm using 52lbs.

sure thing... another tester said this is VERY close to Signum Pro Poly Plasma... you can try that if you can't wait.

I like this string because just like any other poly, it doesn't move. It seems to give me a lot more bite and spin on the ball.

I always feel that the n6.1 95 was a bit too powerful. balls just flew on me... the poly tames its power... i can really hit out... my forehands have been godly... lots of spin, lots of pace and very heavy.

this string also is much softer than regular polys.

Luxilon Timo @ 52lbs. Plenty of power and holds tension well.
