I just saw a local tennis pro at a tournament; we both use the SurgeX. I asked him about why he isn't using the new nCode 6.1 95 and he simply stated that he liked his SurgeX, but then mentioned that "they" (Wilson, I presume) will be nCoding the Surge next year.

    Has anyone else heard this?

A Surge rendered more powerful....better play someplace where the fence is high behind the court.

Wasn't the Ncode Surge the racquet Roger Federer won Wimbledon with? Read somewhere he was prototyping the racquet for Wilson and wanted a little more pop on the ball.

Even the Surge users (Bryan brothers) don't use the Surge, as we've seen on this board, much less Federer. Sure looked like a 90 inch racquet he had on my TV screen.
