I need a control, feel, and comfort (with a bit of pop) string recommendation for the crosses to combine with MSV Hex in the mains. I'm going to take my PT 280 out of mothballs and string it up. I need a good string combo to maintain the control and comfort of the racquet but add a bit of pop on the serve. Any recommendations?

    Thanks!

hex 1.10/mains and wilson reaction 16g/cross plays very nice! good power and feel. plays pretty soft and control is just as good as a full bed of hex. reaction holds tension very well too!

I have tried several multis in the crosses with Hex mains, Pro Supex Maxim Touch and WeissCannon Explosiv works very well. Another nice cross string I just tried recently is Signum Pro Ultra Power SF.:)

If you want a multi, go for Tecnifibre NRG or Pro Supex Maxim Touch. Some good synthetic guts would be Forten Sweet or Pro Supex Titan.

Going to try Forten Sweet and Titan next I think. Not sure I like the feel OG sheep has in the crosses.

I usually use OG Sheep for hybrids.
