I'm not sure if I'm right, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't putting poly into the crosses eat away at the mains and break the expensive gut a lot faster? And I'm pretty sure gut has enough control already...

Tell that to the pros that can waste gut.. Lucky..

I'd try blue gear just to be safe. You've used it as a main, I understand. Try it as a hybrid! I know it's the wrong time to experiment especially since you're using a gut main, but it's what I would do.

Of the poly strings I've triedd, Pacific Poly X Force 18 has been the nicest to put in my frame.

    thanks guys
im gonna put some string savers in there
but il definitly put some poly X force in the list there

oh and to try them out il just cut out the crosses (my racquet has 56 flex so i can easily get away with that without mesiing up my frame)

try pro hurricane tour. they go dead quickly in a full setup, but if you're using a half-setup then GO GO GO!

DuraLast (nadal) or Kirschbaum Spiky are my favorite as crosses with Natural Gut on mains. String savors help also!

^^^Let us know how long this lasts. (I'm curious as to whether the BG will "eat up" the Klip gut mains.)
