I'm looking for a racquet that feels light when swing and gives decent power. And I was looking at the specifications of some racquets and I'm confused about the swingweight and swing speed. I saw one with swingweight under 300 but the swing speed is slow. Shouldn't racquet lower swingweight has fast swing speed?

It's all relative. If the swingweight is low then its for people who are probably just starting to play and doesn't have the skill to create pace on their shots. Hence swing speed = low

swingweight, as i understand it, relates to plowthrough and power of the racket. If you are looking for something that is light to swing but still powerfu you will want to look for something with a low weight but high swingweight. I have been using the babolat pure sttorm GT tour + which has a strung weight of 12.1 but swingweight of 349. I recently switched to the babolat pure storm GT ltd. which has the same strung weight but a 313 swingweight. That meaning I will have to swing faster to generate my own power. Combined with a flex rating of 59 makes it a pure control racket. If I were to recommend a racket for you the blx98, though I dont care for it has plenty of power while still feeling light. Another would be the solinco 8, being very stiff, high swingweight and not too heavy might be something closer to what you would like.

hope this helps
