I've been using kevlar strings for about 10 years now and am looking at changing to something else (something with a little more playability but still having some durability). I switched to kevlar because the strings lasted longer and strung up pretty tight. I love the feel of a tight stringbed.

Any ideas? Something with a little more playability, a little less durability, and strings up tight and doesn't lose tension.

    Thanks,
    Couch

Try your current kevlar in the mains and Bow Championship natural gut in the crosses. Makes for a durable and playable hybrid for less than $13.00. I currently use a combo of Gamma Power Play 18/ Bow 17 at 52/58 and it plays very well.

I've heard a lot of hype about luxilon. Do the luxilon strings hold their tension?
