I got this racket from a yard sale. After put in a new string and an overgrip, it plays so nice. I post on other thread and someone told me it plays like a pro stock PT5E but I am no expert on rackets. Can you help me with:
    1. the spec of this racket. It is not on the racket.
    2. with your expertise, which racket plays similar to this I.prestige MP.
    Thank You!

the specs are not far off from teh current prestige. the biggest thing is teh flex. i dont like the i series because they are stiffer than the others.

nothing plays like a prestige! thats like saying a ford drives like a lotus

Well, that all depends. Ford Cortina with Lotus suspension (aka Lotus Cortina) was and is a terrific sporting ride on the street or on the track. On the flip side, my old Lotus 51 FF obviously had a ford engine and was sublime. :)

It takes a minute to load, but scroll down and there are your specs. Also as another poster put "if it doesn't say made in austria on the side, it's a bit stiffer. Closer to the high 60's." Also, if you don't know, Head measures their racket head size from the outside of the hoop. In all actuality it's much closer to a 95 square inch head.

    Midplus Specs
    Head Size:
    98 sq. in. / 632 sq. cm.
    Length: 27 inches / 69 cm
    Strung Weight: 12.1oz / 343g
    Balance: 6pts Head Light
    Swingweight: 324
    Stiffness: 63
Beam Width: 21 mm Straight Beam
Composition: Graphite Composite w/Piezzo Electric Fibers in Shaft
    Power Level: Low
    Swing Speed: Fast
    Grip Type: ComforTac
    String Pattern:
    18 Mains / 20 Crosses
    Mains skip: 9T,8H,10H
    Two Piece
    No shared holes
    String Tension: 50-62 pounds

I was the one that told you it's the mould of the PT57E by the way.

I have some i.Prestige MP's and IG Prestige MP's. Even though on paper they have the same specs in terms of stiffness the i.Prestige "feels" softer to me in my opinion.

I have leaded up my IG Prestiges with 6 grams of 1/4 inch lead from 10 to 2 under the caps and added a leather grip and 6 grams of weight in the handle. They come in at 355 grams, 8 points headlight and a SW of 333. After the mods they are lot closer in feel to the i.Prestige but you can't replicate the feel of the i.Prestige. With my i.Prestige frames there is no lead and a leather grip has been added to each frame. They come in at approx 355 grams, 10 points headlight and a SW of 333.

I wasn't aware that an i.Prestige without "Made in Austria" is stiffer. Of the three frames that I have one of them doesn't have MIA. I have preferred playing with the frames that do have MIA on the frames.

It shows made in austria. I've played the the youtek prestige MP before. The I.Prestige is smoother, softer, and the SW is lower than the youtek. You think I can modify the IG prestige to play the same as the I.prestige?

Thats wrong. Actually it was the early rubber paint ones with made in Austria that were stiffer according to the USRSA. But I have rubber paint, matte paint, and Matte paint with out Made in Austria on the side but Made in Austria sticker on the butt-cap. They all have the same stiffness rating on my RCD machine.
Oh and the i.Prestige MP is the PT57E!

Awesome! Thank you for the clear up. I just remember reading somewhere about the stiffness and figured I would mention it. :D
