I purchased courtside tickets for the first weekend Sat and Sun night sessions. Would like to see Federer play a match, would like to see him practice, as well as watch some of the other top players play and practice.

Given that I have the above two tickets, I'm wondering what kind of tickets I should get for the day sessions. Dilemma is that if I get good seats for the day sessions, then I'm locked into watching the main stadium match to justify the purchase, but a better match could be going on in a different court...so any advice welcome. :-?

General admission tickets for opening weekend are the best. We actually never go in the main stadium at all. You can easily see all of the top players practicing on the practice courts and even playing on Court 2 or 3. But I like to see the players that they never show on TV rather than those that I can see on TV playing almost any weekend on the Tennis Channel.

Also, if you did not already have the courtside tickets I would have told you to just buy the general admission and then when the matches are switching over at night on the main stadium to see if you could catch someone leaving that would either give you or sell you their ticket for the remaining night matches. We did buy the entire week package once, good seats too, but never stayed the entire time so as we were leaving I would generally just give our tickets to someone if they asked for them.
