There's this kid on the tennis court.

He's holding probably a 10+ yrs old made in thailand POG OS
    Paintjob+grommet condition = 6.5/10.

The body is not structurally damaged.

I can buy it off him for 20 bucks. Should I buy only for keepsake?

If you can buy it for 10 $ and he is happy about it, there is no need for more thinking ;-)

Give him the 20, take the racquet and just give him a slight whack, take the 20 back and bail. Problem solved. Well apart from the criminal offence side...

If you don't already have one in your collection, you should pick it up. It's a great racquet and a good reference point. Which PJ is it? Straight Shaft or 4-Stripes?

Z-man, I got one of those 5 pts healight one (2006).

This is not a straight shaft pj one. I think it looks like the 2006 one, but the prince lettering is still the small cap letters one.

I figured that it is also 5 pts headlight or less.

The one thing that is keeping me from buying it is that to my understanding, the old solid construction makes this racquet pretty much INDESTRUCTABLE, unless you have some freak accident or try to safinate it.

I see--meaning it might have been seriously abused and survived. Well, you can always look on the bright side-maybe it has more flex like the 4-stripes because the kid has wacked it against the fence 100 times! My favorite 4-stripe has a tiny crack at 6:00 on the throat. I think that give me some extra dwell time...
