I played with Tour Duralast on two occasions and loved it. as good control and shot consistency, reliability as you can wish for. its dead and low powered nature makes me very comfortable when hitting, i can keep quality shots in play all day long, hardly any errors. trouble is, it loses tension and dies like no other string i've played with.
i'm looking for an almost exact same string but with 2 or 3 times the tension maintenance, at least. don't care for anything softer, has to be dead and stiff.
    thanks!!!

Try Kirschbaun MatchPower, very good tension hold and it plays very very stiff.

do you mean Weiss Cannon Matchpower? i haven't come accross a similarly named string form Kirsch.
if so, it's definitely stiffer than Silverstring, right?
