i've just found this red beauty on the bay, but i don't know anything about it,except that it's a 98 sq. in. and 16x18 pattern. it is from the same mold of the Comp 9?

Unfortunately the guy who'd most likely give the best, most accurate info is currently banned..hopefully for not much longer.

Is it a classic beam, red with yellow and grey print on it?
If so, I have 2 brand new ones laying around. I can do a weight, balance point and even an RA rating.

Who would that be? ( person that was banned?)

Tennis Maverick. Love him or hate him, he's opinionated, a bit abrasive at times, not politically correct...and often spot-on correct. Entertaining, and gives tons of solid advice about technique, training, and strategy, for free on here.

He's biased towards Volkl and BB, which he doesn't hide, and I'm okay with that, and he'll talk about other brands as well, and not disparagingly. I'd have no problem with similar folks being on here, giving their input / commentary / opinion / etc. on TT, who have a similar relationship with Wilson, Head, Babolat, etc.

He's like the talk radio guy of TT...and you know how polarizing that can be.

And I loves me some conservative political talk radio...

Hope he's back soon. This place isn't as interesting without him.

Are you talking about the C7 Pro? If so, then it's 98 si, 27 in long, 12.10 oz (avg), 7 Pts HL (avg), SW 319 (avg), RA 62, 18x20 pattern. If not, please ignore. :)

Please let us know which C 7 you are referring to. I have a reddish C 7 Comp from years ago. If you have/ can get some pics to post that would help.

that's a different frame. it's a 98 sq in. 16x 18, red and grey with yellow lettering. Hanna19 said that he owns 2 brand new C 7 Champ, and he's going to do the weight, balance and the flex. Hanna19, are you there? Thanks again.
Mctennis, i'll receive the frame next week i think, just bought it from the bay. just try to do a search. google images: "Volkl Champ c7 Petr Korda", that's the frame i'm waiting for.

Thank you. I've received the frame and these are the specs , from the Diagnostic babolat. Unstrung weight 329 grams., strung weight with dampener and overgrip 350, flex 58, balance point 31,7, swingweight 325. head size looks like a 94 sq. inch. Almost perfect specs! i've strung the racquet with Isospeed Axon Multi 1,25. 26 kg mains/24,5 crosses, then went to the court. it reminds me the old Comp c 10, but it is more manoeuvrable and even more solid. nice racquet overall.

^^^ My RA measurement was estimated because it was done on a mechanical flexmeter that only indicates between "Flex" and "Very Stiff". It came up in the mid end of the "Stiff" section.
Your 58 looks like it's dead on.

The frame flexes at the throat, the upper hoop it feels very firm and stable. i love the frame especially on serve returns and on the flat forehands, very stable and it moves quickly than my becker 11 mid, because of the lower SW. this gives me a better timing on the ball impact.
