I hate the stock grip on Babolat APD and now it started wearing off. I need a good recommendation for a replacement. I'm between 3/8 and 1/2 and right now it's 3/8 grip. should I use a nice leather grip, an overgrip or put some lead tape under a new grip?

    Thanks.

    what size is your APD?

If its 4 3/8...a leather grip would make it a bit larger which would be good in your case. Only downside would be that a leather grip would absorb less shock, which some people like but others do not. However, what i like to do is use any synthetic replacement grip (i used Wilson True Grip) and put a wilson pro overgrip on. I'm also inbetween 4 3/8 and 4 1/2 and i find that this setup suits me prefectly since the overgrip is fairly thick.

thanks, power. I put some generic white Karakal Points 75 overgrip for now. Will see how is feels and then be looking for something more comfortable in colors ...

Leather grips are THINNER than synthetic rips.
