I need some different ideas on volley drills against a wall.

I already do the basic 5,10,15 forehands in a row, 5,10,15 backhands in a row, etc.

I would like some volley drills that help work on TOUCH. Maybe hitting into an open basket, or something like that.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Thanks

I normally have this volleying routine against the wall:
100 FH-FH typically low to medium height volleys
    100 BH-BH as above
100 FH-BH standing in close (8 Ft). again low to medium height volleys
100 FH half volleys. some flat, some topspin, some slice/drop
100 BH half volleys. some flat, some slice/drop.. I cannot topspin my BH half volleys.. :)
100 FH drop volleys which bounce back.. then hard hit against the wall followed by another drop volley..
100 BH drop volleys as above
100 BH high volleys - These take the longest to do, because you have to feed them high and hit them lower. You cannot keep these going like low to medium volleys.
100 FH high volleys - same as above

typically takes me 1 hour.. the high FH and high BH take most of the time.

try one with stepping towards the backboard with the lead foot on every volley...it's intense. Looks just like a boxer mauling a heavy bag, especially if you stay upright as you drop, instead of bending over.
I could tech you touch by bounching a ball, soft hands is about body mechanics and dynamics as much as power, form technique, touch, finess...yeah baby
