    Guys,

Why have the Radical Pro and the Prestige line these huge bumperguards running all around the frame?

And how much do they weight? Ill guess its easy to cut them back to 10 and 2 o'clock to reduces a couple of grams and some points on the swingweight?

    Thanks.

    Radical MP vs Radical Pro.

Dont know how much extra the new bumperguard weights, but if you get rid of it, the pro is coming very close to the MP version. Of course still some couples of gram heavier and a more open pattern, but still very close.

The prestige has had those, called full caps, for years now. This is the first radicals to have them. They are one piece(gaurd and grommets) unless i'm mistaken, so not that easy to just cut the gaurd away and leave the grommets. I like them, especially on days I'm playing bad and throwing my racket around. They protect the frame really well, and can be replaced for very little. I'm surprised that all rackets don't have the same type of protection.
