it was all part of the theme, I suppose, given the background song.

ok maybe, I have the audio turned off as I am watching in my office. so didn't hear the song...
anyway, not a good day for Fed. I no longer care what new commercial he comes up with, rather I wish to see the real Fed on courts.

It never ceases to amaze me how Gillette got three biggest stars in the world to do a commercial for a RAZOR.
I mean, if it's Nike then it's understandable because whenever they play it looks like Nike threw up on them, but a RAZOR? Lol. I hope the money they make will pay their bills.

    Funny commercial.

That is a great commercial. It sort of stinks that he has to do these commercials for Gilette because he likely signed a contract with them because I am sure Federer would rather focus on his tennis more. I am sure when he originally signed the contract with Gilette he never thought he was going to have so much trouble beating Sampras' slam record.

It doesn't get much worse than this, although Federer's not really known for starring in good commercials.

Fed needs some acting advice, go to Juliard or something. He is not natural at all.

While Fed lacks acting ability, Novak on the other hand overacts and his commercial is just disgusting!

These two guys made me laugh though.

Those aren't feminine shoes. Those are disco shoes. C'mon, that song is Stayin' Alive by the BeeGes. I loved that commercial.

I agree with this one, Nadal isn't a great actor either, and his accent doesn't help, but McEnroe was good.

I didn't say Nadal was Anthony Hopkins, but he is more natural than Roger or Novak. He is playing himself, and Rafa is not fluent in English.

I agree with you . See the Rafa commercial with Gasol in spanish. Rafa is acts very well. The language barrier made his acting worse.

    Funny, confindence, but where is???
He should spend more time on practicing court hoooned his forehand....and serve, and return, and slice backhand, and working on break points. And spend more time maybe on yoga...? Otherwise, more 3rd round-out, no more commercials, no more money and no more pop, maestro.
BTW, he looks on that commercial more like transw.....
Comoooon Roger, wake up, you're loosing fans!

tbh, I don't know how you can judge roger's acting skills based on this performance. All he was doing was smiling and pointing. He wasn't really acting persay or needed to.

His left foot turns in when he walks. aka pigeion toed. Quite common. Take a close look at how pigeon's walk some day when you have nothing better to do.

Think Novak and Feds done a good job. They are fun commercials not movie roles.
