I say hit through the ball more. You're getting good topspin by brushing it for sure, but you need to drive forward and hit through the ball more. Also, you're reacting a little late on the forehand side. I know the over the head stroke is useful for certain circumstances but in your video it just looks like you waited too long and the ball got too close to you and you had no other choice but to just use that forehand.

I also notice you using a lot of arm to get the ball to go where you want it to. Try turning your body more to change directions and not use just your arm alone.

    Keep it up!

From watching your vids I feel like you are working way too hard, if that makes any sense. It should flow more and be smoother.

Some of this is your timing is still off. You are still real late to the contact point. Whem you are hitting out in front you are going to notice your power level jump up and feel a lot easier.

Also your grip on the backhand is too extreme IMO. You want to drive through the ball more. You are trying to make spin with the racquet face. What that does is just takes all the pace off.

The way to hit with big spin is to drop the racquet head lower. You aren't really doing that. It will allow you to hit with a less extreme grip and the result will be a cleaner ball with more pace and spin.

And you probably know this, but you are still cheating on the grip. Stay neutral. Are you able to get into a continental grip with your right hand easily?

There is a video of Will Hamilton running around a pylon between shots. It might be something you can use to emulate more dynamic fluid in your shots.

As for your backhand. You strike the ball well however you have to swing quite violently with your arms to generate that pace. Two things wrong with that. When the ball comes hard or high and heavy, contact becomes more difficult. Secondly, fatique.

Here's a tip to help you produce easy power. Prepare with a good hip turn until you feel a stretch in your hip and shoulders. Racquet should be up above the wrists and close to hands close you your waist (for a hip lvl ball). Now just release the hip, the elastic energy stored will automatically give you acceleration now all you have to do is lengthen the body into the shot. Don't interfere with the naturally uncoiling by forcing open your hips. Just ride the wave a bit letting the body flow. Let the body bring your arms around into the ball. Yours don't hit, they lift. Your left arm should almost feel like it's bowling.

Let the body accept the ball into the your hitting structure formed by your arms and racquet. Then let the racquet follow thru naturally to where it wants to go after lifting.

    Hope this helped.
