Yep. Those knees just keep coming back to haunt him. Hard to believe Roger is 31 and so fit while Rafa is 26 and hasn't been able to play a tournament all summer...

Any specific pics you want there?

May take me until Saturday to do them...

@ フェデラー: It's really sad that Nadal has such problems. Although I am a FedFan, he's such a likeable guy - he just doesn't deserve that. (In fact, nobody does)

Well I'm a S anyway. That Miami outfit was one of my all times favorites. And yeah, if the only top you have is the FO'09 then you should be proud already ;)

Well to be fair, he kind of did it to himself. Could you imagine if he still played the way he did back in '05 now, he probably would have retired. I like the new Rafa, but I feel that he wouldn't have won as many titles, especially on clay. The new Rafa is a lot more interesting, but he is a lot more vulnerable.

I bought the obsidian shorts from twe about a month ago. I don't have the Fall '11 obsidian shorts so I can't comment on them but the quality is definitely nice, as well as the zipper/button on them. I'll try to get some pictures up tonight.

There's only one argument that I can recall ever being involved in with trolls. And um, I don't root against other players (unless they're playing Federer, obviously). :| Perhaps you have received a mistaken impression of me?

Haven't seen you in a while. Care to comment on why Nike's 2013 Spring is the best line in the last decade?

I got the dark blue hook and bar version of these shorts. They suck. That blue and red stripe at the pocket area peels off too easily (stuck together with glue). Mind you, they are brand new!!!

Exact same problem with the previous years Federer jacket with the stripe across the front and back. I thought Nike would have been smart enough to quit sticking pieces of cloth together with glue.

I have to use a warm iron just to get them sticking to each other till the next wash..

@SKY, thanks a lot for the pics !!
Do you have the Obsidian short or polo from Fall/Winter 11 ?
I'd like to know is it's the same shade of blue, or different...

I'm looking for a plain RF obsidian short... So for me it's good news, so I could buy it and peel these stripes easily

Your're welcome. If you need any other pics, just tell me.

You're welcome too. Unfortunately, I don't have the short or Polo from Winter 11. But is there maybe a way of finding the color code of the Fall/Winter 11 one? The code for the obsidian now is 451, maybe you find it somewhere on your gear too in order to compare them.

I'm sorry that I am not able to help you on this one.

In order to find out my size, I tried on different Nike stuff in a store and I found out that medium is too big for me. I am around 1m80 and around 65 kg (European sizes) and the medium stuff was already too big for me. Hope that helps.

Has anyone brought the cargo shorts? I wouldn't mind seeing live pics of them if anyone has them.

    Cheers.

@sky: thanks for the pics mate. I'll post pic of the polo once I get them too. Would you say that the shorts is the same color with the top?

And good to see that the RF logo is embroidered on the jacket.

For a greedy request, can you try to take some of the pics again in a way that their true colors will be shown, i.e no over bright flash? Thank you in advance.

You can't. If you peel it off, you will have a gaping hole...

That's just how dumb it is.

    Bought it.
Looks great with the spring black crew, because of kaki details on it.
Will try to make good pics of it soon.

Oops, sorry Babolast... I just realised you meant the long "Cargo" short with pocket on bottom, right ?
I thought you wanted the "cargo kaki" short from spring...
Don't have the long cargo short :( sorry.

Not a great pic -like the shirt, wrinkled because they just came out of the TW box (and rotated). I've worn them around town and like them - the birch is a great color. Haven't played in them yet - probably will Tues - I will report back - not usually a huge fan of shorts that long for playing in - but they are light:

Awesome thank you WCA, I really like the cargo shorts because they are something different.

Once again thank you for the pic and looking forward to hearing your report on Tuesday.

Not yet. But it would be acceptable on Casual Friday at work so I probably will. These birch shorts look great with the obsidian/red Vapor 9's.

Thank you as well, West Coast Ace.

Can you please briefly tell me how is the fit and quality of that top? I'm still unsure whether I should buy the uni blue or not because I picture that it will be hard to match...

I still haven't worn it - new rules at work - have to have a collar on casual days (ridiculous - but they pay me a ton so no grumbles).

I can tell you the sleeves are very short, similar to some of Roger's other recent shirts - I'm not real fond of that but it wasn't a dealbreaker. There are subtle 'vents' on the sides that don't appear in the pictures - very nice. The length is standard - I held it up to a number of other RF shirts and it's the same.

I saw the light blue variant in the shopping area at Toronto - I agree with your assessment 100% - don't think it will work in combination with a lot of other clothes.

Thank you very much for the detailed answer. And yeah, I can only think of pairing that with a white shorts and can't think of any shoes that would match. Normally I'd just get it out of my mind but I'm about to go to the states and I have not got any of Fed's screw so those make it much harder :)

(Jealously) judging by the fact that he's able to grab the real RF shorts (not pull on knock offs), I think he's in the Europe where that blue Nike elites are not like everywhere. Anyhow I think that it would look great with white shorts too ;)

What about obsidian shorts ? the white/red stripes of this short will match the obsidian/red stripes of the crew.
+ obsidian being a shade of blue would match with the univ-blue shade, I guess.

Edit: I just made a "montage" with this outfit...
Would looks great to me :

Yeah, you're right - small fits perfectly (shorts, shirts, polos, jackets).

Yeah, shorts, polo, jacket are all the same color, they also have the same color code, which is 451. The only thing that looks a bit different under some light conditions is the wristband, which appears to be a bit darker due to the different material. But in fact it is also the same color.

Yeah, I'll try so - can't promise how long it takes me. ;)

Since I'm not native english, I don't know exactly what you mean, although I have, let's say, an idea. ;) Is a snap some kind of a "hole" in the clothing? If so, no, there's no snap, its just a pleat from folding it.

Unfortunately, they are not available in Europe - black socks will have to do it. ;)

Yeah, you're right - seems like it is impossible to get all products of a collection in either europe or the US.

The shirt doesn't look that good in person. IMHO it looks like a white shirt that was thrown in the washing machine with a lot of dark blue clothes with hot water. It just doesn't look good.
