    Absolutely right. ;)

I activated that option just by now, I am looking forward to receiving a message from you. If I can help you to get something in return, please tell me so.

That's right. I will see if I still have the packaging of my wristbands.

How are the Federer's FALL shorts in matter of length, compared to the spring and summer ?
The one he was wearing at Cinci seemed shorter that before!

Raph I thought the same exact thing!

It doesn't matter as much to me as shorts never seem to be that short on me.

My shorts seem to have normal length. Maybe he just wore them higher than usual, this could happen everytime - it just depends on what is more comfortable for a player.

@all: yeah the change in his RF shorts is so obvious! I hope that they stick with the old "formal" length for the retail ones though.

Saw your nice words too ;) Too bad that it obviously doesnt feel as nice as the Fed stuff. That is actually the first Adidas piece that I have bought my self (was given some old one when I learned to play)

Got it mate :) My math teacher in highschool is from Austria as well, he has a very cool accent and is a very funny guy also =D And somehow, my french teacher was also Austrian!

Played today. They were fine - never really felt any different than any other shorts while playing. Good inner thigh ventilation. Nice and light. The only time you feel the length is when you're standing still between points and feel them on your knees.

    Great they sound very athletic.

Did anyone comment on them? Also do they look brown on white/brown?

No. I played pretty early - went to work at 5AM and got to the courts at 330PM - only 1 other court being used. And it's been very hot out here - 86 by the ocean - usually 72 - probably too hot for many.

I thought the Nike name 'birch' (does someone at Nike make $200k to come up with the color names? Can I apply?) was funny - they look like french vanilla ice cream to me. No brown whatsoever.

Prices are just ripoffs, even for quality Nike shirts, it is not even reasonable. We are being tricked into buying the brand not the clothing, and I am too guilty of this.

I did find a 100% organic 2011 wimbledon RF v-neck shirt at my local Nike clearance store for $10! I bought that thing in a heartbeat haha.

Doesn't look like I'll be buying anything at the open this year. Most of all the tshirts and stuff looks like crap.

Even if they have another madball shirt I'm not buying it. Nike cotton shirts don't fit me, XL is too big and L is too small. Their dri fit stuff fits better but those shirts slogans are dumb.

I guess we are paying generally too much when it comes to clothing anyway, so it is not just Nike, unfortunately.

For me, buying that Nike stuff is like buying a football dress - you show that you are fan of sth/someone, you like to behave a bit like a pro, etc. etc. And that justifies the price sometimes.

Ah, I completely forgot: I got two pull-on shorts and two tees from the fall collection, I can post photos of them too if you are interested.

Today after work, there is a great "cut off the labels from my new stuff"-session at my home, so I can take pictures of the USO outfit and my other stuff again. :)

Have all of the new shorts switched to heat-transfer logos? It seems the Match Woven shorts before were all embroidered and now - they are all heat transfers....

Here are my newly bought shorts and shirts. I took some more pictures from the apparel I posted earlier in this thread and also some pictures of my other apparel which is not from the fall collection (I included the RF Fall cap there). Those pictures will be in the "Post your apparel"-Thread, so if you are interested, visit them there. ;)

I also apologise that I took the pictures with flash again. The first few are without flash and the quality is, in my opinion, bad, so everything, except for the shorts, is taken with flash again.

    Pull-On shorts (white w/ grey/black and obsidian w/red/white):

Yeah. :D The empty TWE boxes are all around my living room. But my bank account is crying on the other side. :D

For outfit combination: The USO outfit will be an outfit for "special matches", the red or obsidian shirt with obsidian shorts and the gray or anthrazite shirt with the white shorts will be training outfits.

+1. How much should a dress shirt cost? High end ones make RF shirts look cheap. And what about Lacoste shirts? Solid color with a croc logo - thick cotton, not Dri-fit - $78. What did it cost to make? $0.50?

    PS - nice shorts collection.

I think it's mainly the idea of owning something exclusive. Why do people pay 2000€+ just for a watch? (and it was called cheap in the magazine where I saw it) Nobody can tell me that a watch is worth this amount of money. If, for example, a Lacoste shirt would cost 5$, everybody might buy it. If it costs 78$, just a few people own it and it becomes exclusive. Therefore, on the one hand, I am happy that Nike prices aren't exploding that much, on the other hand 30$ for a cap or a shirt are still a lot of money.

I buy this kind of stuff with the thought in mind that it is a lot of money - but I buy it as something special for me, not like I would buy some casual clothes for random activities.

    Thank you. :)

    Sounds very nice :D

And I have just gotten my uni blue crew. The fit seems to be baggier than the polo (for the same size of course). I'll post pics later or maybe tmr which is when I will get the white shorts as well ;)

Yes, that's the one. I'll try to post pics either tmr or next week, hopefully with the white shorts and the Cincy shoes which will probably be one of my guiltiest purchases ever :D

P.S. I tried it on earlier and while it doesnt look as good on me as the polo (like Fed :p) but the feeling is silky smooth, comfortable and light like the RF polo ones (if not better because there is no placket)

Yeah, Pics would be very nice. Why were the shoes one of your guilties purchases? :D

Good to hear. I'm already looking forward to the blue and purple polos in Winter - they are polos. :D

PS: Some shirts look good on Fed, compare my avatar. ;)

I just realized that you have nearly a complete USO day outfit - very nice. :)

Yeah, my excitement is big. I have to think of that stuff in order to prevent me from buying more of the Fall collection. :D:D

Are you moving to another country or are they pushing you off a cliff? :)

What surface(s) do you play tennis on in Vietnam? Any good tennis centers (open to travelers) in Ho Chi Min City?

lol no I'm in Belmont, North Cali since 3 days ago. I will update my info now :)

There are only hard courts: indoor and outdoor. And if you have money then could always come no matter where you're from, just keep in mind that communication might be a problem. So are you coming to Vietnam? If you want I could try to hook some one up with you. :D

Congratulations. Hope you enjoy your time here - and find some people to hit tennis with.

It's on my list of places in Asia I still have not visited yet. I was hoping you'd tell me they had red clay or some other exotic courts - might have bumped it up on my list.
