just stick with the big ace... they are great strings. i tend to like stiffer strings so i use cyberflash. if you want to try another soft poly try the signum

Agreed. Big Ace is a great poly. It's nice, crisp, and offers more feel than other polys.

Topspin Cyberflash 17G has my vote. Several tournament players I string for even switched from Alu Big Banger to the Cyberflash 17G.

I personally use two polys from Topspin, Cyberflash 18G & Polypolar 17G (discontinued). Polypolar is softer but now it is becoming very difficult to find.

I thought the scorpion is the same as big ace.

Very similar, but not the same. Scorpion offers slightly more power and holds properties longer.

They are similar like Stan said. I find the opposite though. Big Ace maintains tension longer and is a little more powerful. Well everyone is different....

    My readings...ERT 300.

    Big Ace (red) @ 58 pounds = 42 DT
    After 24 hours DT = 37 (12% loss)
    After 2 matches (5 days) DT = 34 (19% tension loss)
    After 4 matches (12 days) DT = 33 (21% tension loss)

    Scoripion @ 60 lbs = 42 DT
    After 24 hrs DT = 39 (7% tension loss)
    After 3 matches (8 days) DT = 37 (12% tension loss)
    After 6 matches (24 days) DT = 35 (17% tension loss)

I don't know your readings... all I know is my feeling about the string and that USRSA reported that Big Ace is top 5 in tension maintenance ... and polys normally are not the best for tension maintenance -especially in the beginning.

Scorpion to me felt springy/loose after around 5-7 hours.

looks and sounds good but do they match up to what they say?

    how are the:

    Weisscannon silverstring and scorpion strings?
    - soft, powerful, retains tension and playability well

    Babolat ballistic polymono?

    Topspin cyberflash?
    - stiff (which I prefer), decent tension maintenance.

    signum pro poly plasma strings?
    - excellent tension maintenance, fairly soft, ok power

please help if u can, but give as much info for the strings as u can!
