I just asked a player who is sponsored by prince about the new rackets.
The speedport black is a go......set to come out late spring early summer
The james blake racket(no name yet).....middle summer
blake's is a solid like the diablo, and the speedport black is most likely taking the place of the o3 white in the speedport collection

but the speedport red got a pretty decent review in TW. But ive heard that the black is supposed to fall between the white and tour. Is that true, and is there even really going to be a black?

Speedports are more squarish holes, which transfer more energy to the ball for increased power, while also allowing the player to "feel" his swing better as air flow productivity through the frame is increased, leading to more confidence and more points won.

The older, but no less significant, O-ports are round holes that allow a fuller, faster swing, while also increasing the torsional stability of the frame and widening the sweet spot, resulting in 50 percent more control, leading to more confidence and more points won.

Or something like that (rolls eyes).

behind you, but i have to be somewhere else by the
in my mind the o3 technology is an excuse for lesser frames in other aspects

I was just about ready to try a POG OS, but I'm intrigued by the Blake racquet. Then, again, I'll believe it when I see it. He's really not a great candidate right now to promote a racket.

Used to use a Diablo mid, but it was too unforgiving and gave me arm problems. The Diablo midplus sucked.

Based on James' Dunlops, the new Prince, if it's true, has to be 95 -98 sq inches, fairly tight string pattern, 12+ ounces, and more flexible than a Diablo mid.

Nope. The reason was because he hated all of their other frames.
