I know there has been a lot of speculation among these threads about new racquet releases. I just wanted to sum it up in this thread and does anyone know all the new releases in early `07? I'm interested in getting a new stick and wanted to check out what's gonna be comin` out soon.

i recently demo'd the n6.1 95 and just loved the solid and somewhat muted feeling. if the 'K-factor' turned out to be true, i'll wait till it comes out and buy a k6.1 95. for now ill jsut get a head, maybe the andre agassi limited version or somethign..lol

btw how do you put an avatar under your name lol

I... don't get it. If it feels just right then why not just buy it? There's no reason to think that a new version will play any better. There's every reason to think that it will play differently from the racquet you just fell in love with though. Wouldn't a better strategy be to wait till the new version comes out and then get the old one cheap in the clearance bin? Unless having the newest looking toy is all that important to you...

hmm... maybe youre right. I didnt even want to demo the n61 95 the other day, but since they didnt have the ones I wanted , i thought i'd just try the n61 since its so hyped and i wanted to see how overated it is, but man, the moment i hit with the stick, everydamnthing felt right, the weight, balance, touch, the ploughthrough factor, not to mention i felt immediately 0.5 level better at the net. it gave me somehting that i never had before ..... 'rhythm' i guess, for the lack of a better word. it may not make sense but it also reminded my old wood racquet...

I have read from another on this board that HEAD's new racquet line will be metallix.
HEAD normally brings new tech out in their tweener lines first, be for bringing it to all lines.

I heard they were going to intro duce it into all there frames. How's that gonna work? Liquidmetal, flexpoint, and Metallix? Are any of these technologies for real?
