Season 7 kicks off tonight and continues tomorrow. Last season was absolutely dreadful and the show has jumped the shark more than once. I'm hopeful the new season will be good or at least not awful. The "Redemption" show was pretty good and the new season continues with the the inauguration of the 1st female president. I love Jack Bauer and think he is a great American hero but I guess torture is no longer politically correct.

Anybody notice that Jack is in Africa in hour 2 and Washington in hour 3?

    -Superman wears Jack Bauer underwear.

-When the cops pull over Jack Bauer, Jack lets them off with a warning.

Last season sucked and so did the movie thing. Not optimistic about the series at this point.

24: Redemption is a prelude to 24: Season 7. It is a filler between Season 6 and Season. When they resume, it is hour 1 not hour 3.

The timeline is just a gimmick. Nobody believes these events happen in real time. I don't even think the show is real.

I think the first 3 to 4 seasons were based on true events.

That is good, because we will get 24 episodes and not 22.

Thought last night's show rocked...Tony gone bad? Say it ain't so....look forward to another 2 hours tonight...the only bummer is we get 2 nights back to back for 2 hours each....then they draw it out....love the dvd's...you can have a real 24 marathon....think this season has real promise...the casting is always good....

the tony thing is kinda ridiculous, with the fake body in the grave and all. he wasnt a terrorist when he got mortally (well we thought) injured, so who buried the fake body? or did tony wake up from a coma or something, then immediately thought to be a terrorist, made some terrorist connections right then, then this fake burial happened and everyone was fooled? it makes sense that jack didnt know tony was alive because he was kidnapped in china, but i dont get this fake burial :).

Have you noticed how every season a suspect is able to slip out of a building completely surrounded by federal agents, but Jack Bauer is always able to capture/kill a handful of them all by himself?

Yeah, well he IS Jack Bauer after all!!! Hahahaha...I knew it....Tony didn't go bad....OK....now this is what's bugging me....a continuity thing....he's at FBI HQ...sitting in a room....ok...going to bust Tony out....suddenly the man purse is back!!!! He didn't have it when he arrived....do they have a man purse concession at the FBI? Very few things irritate me with 24...it is a TV show...but continuity (or lack thereof) does bother me....

I love 24 and am fired up that it's back...as for some of the "unbelieveable" escapes and what not that Jack is famous for....it's called suspension of disbelief. Works for me!

Just finished watching the last 4 hours. I was pretty impressed. I like the storyline. I hate these guys who are so adverse to torture and do everything by the book. I was surprised to see Jeanne Garofalo on the show. Looks like Chloe has some competition.
