I just came back from the stringer with a new job done. I have Tecnifibre X-1 Biphase 17 at 60 pounds in the mains and 58 pounds in the crosses. I don´t understand much about stringing and due to the fact that it is very hard to find someone that understands the job in my city I would like to know at least if the knots are in the right place. Yonex is so dificult to find in my country that I believe the Yonex head shape brings further dificulties in stringing to someone who doesn´t have a clue about it. Please advice...

The cross tie-off should be @ 11T.. but not really a big deal in my book.

    Agreed

It looks like its been string top down (which is good for Yonex rqts), as the cross strings are bowing towards the throat. The stringer should have straighten the strings before letting it out the shop

    Thank you very much,

It would be already spectacular if the job was done in a correct way... let´s forget about straighten the strings;)
I guess if I would ask him to do that he would look at me with that funny look and think... who the heck this guy think he is? You just can´t imagine in some places here in Portugal (Lisbon) the poor jobs they do! I guess they just buy a stringing machine but never just learn how to really use them. So little professional. Then we go play and witness strings to break after 10 minutes of practice... you just think... after 20 years of tennis, lessons, tournaments and so on... I can´t be playing that bad!!!;)
