I just had a Head Ti S6 shipped to me. It has an unusual smell. Is this normal? I'm just making sure I did not get a defective product.

I return my racquets if they don't have the rich aroma of freshly baked chocolate chips cookies.

I think it might just be the graphite.

I've seen people complain about a lot of things of new racquets but the smell has to be the weirdest one. How is a racquet supposed to smell, or not supposed to?

Oh. Yeah, you have the scratch and sniff Ti S6. The dark, rough, grey colored areas are the part you scratch at. While it was shipping it probably was activated from being tossed around in the box so much. What flavor did you get? I got lemon lime.
