I was looking at an article by Raymond Lee in Tennis Week in which he discusses John McEnroe's 1984 season. I noticed Lee has some tennis statistics on percentage of games won during the year and percentage of sets won. What do you all think of this and is it really that useful in looking at the strength of a player? I actually like it and am surprised no one has ever done it before.

Here's the link to the article.
