    Hi

I think maybe it's time I get a decent racquet, but I don't know much about it and can't justify how a new one is going to be better than my current one which is a cheapo 5 years old Wilson.

What are the things you look for in a good racquet? Or most are just personal preferences?

If I do end up getting a new one, it'll be under $100 :)

    Maybe consider one of these?

I just basically posted this on a different thread, but four nice Oversized Players Racquets (all 107 sq in) are very reasonably priced choices:
    • Prince Graphite Classic Oversize - $120 A little over the $100
    • Head Agassi Radical Limited Edition - $90
    • Donnay Pro One Oversize - $100
    • Prince Triple Threat Warrior Oversize - $70
I really do not know your playing style, but if you are an advancing beginner to intermediate player these racquets are nice head-light frames, but with enough weight to help you plow through the ball when the ball begins to have some pace.
