i guess it will be either 20X or NEXT...
Jyp for #$% sake, pleease learn to think before you type. 20X = 2010, as in X being 10 in roman numerals. The racquet line wll be X. NEXT is just a play on words like [K]ontrol..........GET IT GET IT GET IT GET IT GET IT???
Some really silly people on these boards. ITS NOT THAT HARD TO FIGURE OUT!
You know people always have hard times with maths
People also seem to struggle with capitalization and sentence fragments.
"Maths" is perfectly acceptable. It's British English. To Brits, "math" sounds funny.
You wouldn't say "we're going to study mathematic today" so why say "math"? It makes sense to shorten mathematics to maths. I'm American and I use math, but I fully understand "maths."
No its not I think everyone should fight about this......cough
The new line is going to be called Frequency as opposed to factor and the model Fed is playing with is the BLX Frequency 6 one.
The theory is damage done to the body is not caused by vibration alone. It has to do with the vibrations in specific ranges of frequency where most damage occurs.
The BLX or (Blocks) Blocks these harmful ranges without dampening the feel, vibration and feed back.
You still have the pop and can hit the touch shots and feel the ball.
Blocks Frequency Six-One
BLX Frequency 6.1
The paint job looks like blue steel and back with white letters.
Davidvorderman6 where did you get this info from?
English isn't hard, its grammar is.
Fortunately spanish is becoming the world's second language
Thanks Rafa + Delpo + Manu Ginobili + Ricky Martin + Cervantes + Vargas Llosa + Placido Domingo + all Mexican good influence in States
Back to 20X, I was wondering if the new racquet would made obsolete all dampeners
A fortune teller in Chinatown.
All I new from the Wilson rep at Stockholm Open is that the racket will be called BLX.
So I was looking at the Wilson 20X ads today, and they all have a wood-paneled background with a single sand-colored paint streak. Any speculation as to what this means? Could Wilson be deviating from the red/white scheme? The color of the paint streak resembles the color of the Maxply McEnroe. To be sure Wilson wouldn't try to make their "new technology" resemble racquets of old?
Nope. The racquets are black and red. The throat is divided in colors, one part is black, the other is red.
At least we now what will they look like.
Thanks Automatix. Dont mean to sound like a downer but I dont know if I'm entierly sold yet on the cosmetics. I'll grow to like it though.
I quickly screen capped all the shots for your viewing pleasure.
BUT, what is most interesting, is the outro. I commented on it in the picture.
Sneaky one by the Wilson design team
I love all the smart ass comments in this thread from all the non believers:
nice one lawrence. Thanks.
haha lol lawrence
they didnt belived me haha!
but i where the first person in the world who writen down something about blx
ow forgotten this:
there you can find everything from blx now
wow thanks lawrence. But the racquets kinda look crap
Courtesy of SFrazeur:
hey Tom its Justin (iricforset), got a KPS88 by the way, hopefully it doesnt get damaged during shipment Yeah i have to agree, although my initial reaction was almost the same with the Kfactors when I first saw Roger pull them out of his bag at Kooyong.
Wilson users will grow to like them. I'm already taken by the yellow Xs on the head and throat
What do I need to download to open/view this link?
Thanks in advance
VLC player opens it Geoff
Here's the new pics, not too much more that's revealed. Top right is one we didn't see in the first video.
And they revealed a tiny bit more of Federer's racket.
One thing that's strange, is if you watched the video you'll notice Fed talks about the elements.. And they have a whole section showing random flames, water, air, earth.
Perhaps the paintjobs are based on each element? I don't know, but I guess we'll find out soon!
if you take a close look
the strings from feliciano are 18x horizontal
lol maybe you wanted to know that
video's on youtube
Not digging it...
Well you've got three years to appreciate it. Everything seems pretentious at first. I think its a cool idea for paintjobs, really keen to see it up close.
cant wait for the rackets!
Me either. I want to try the six.One Team for it, because I use the K six.One Team.
the discussions about upcoming lines, videos, etc., shows the genius behind TW forum. whoever thought of having this forum should get a raise, TW.
Thanks. Also appreciate the uploads to YouTube and other early information from others. I guess the race begins on the first to post a review! for selfish reasons I hope it is BHBH!
WOW if you count the string pattern from the federer racket than i count a 18x20 string pattern.....
i looked for over an hour in a serveral screen shots from the movie's...and everytime i count a string pattern from 18x20...
if this is really likes it looks it is....that will mean that youre strings are gonne be more durable if you play with the new racket than the ok k-six on tour.... and ofcourse it means a lot more....
but for me the new string pattern from the blx seems for me than verry comfertable because with the old k factor racket i became verry frustrated from the 16x19 string pattern because everytime my strings broke....sometimes even more than 2 rackets in 1match
and for the first time in a few generations from the federer racket the frame looks like it is shiny....
what do you guys think?
Federer should go back the 2004-2006 Ncode....
20x = 2010 which is next year
Like I said before, if this is the name of the new racquet it is very very unfortunate!!!
And will have everyone in the UK laughing for a very very long time
(BLX is abbreviation for bollocks in UK)
I dont understand why they need to remove this vibration...Babolat did that sort of staff and many pro players avoid this technology ...Fed played ages with this racq and he dosnt have any body damage becouse of vibrations in specific ranges of frequency ...so and i and many others
Why they cant add something exept new Pj =)Add power Add control add feel with some magic technology=))They just removed this strange vibrations =))
and the worst thing that we will buy this racket,to check if this racquet is better ,as many bought kps88 to check if they can handle it =))
hhm hhm hhm cant find any other new video
Well if Roger is like Nadal, he will just have a paintjob of his K Factor 90 without the BLX. The problem is there isnt any new marvelous technology that will put the racquet head and shoulders above others, those days are past (eg Wood to steel to graphite).
Even if the racket is 100% the same but with a paintjob, most people on these board to testify "100% better than the previous, better field, more/less powered" etc. Marketing at its best
And many say it's not as good as the older model....and they seek out the older ones in an effort to keep it real.
Marketing backlash, hahaha.
Looks like half the racket is black and the other half red.
very ugly, reminds me of those juniors rackets
Is it just me or do a LOT of the new frames look like the cosmetics were designed to appeal to kids? Flashy, bright, bold, candy-colored, graphic-laden, etc.
Maybe I'm just into black with a stripe.
BTW, I feel the same about bikes.
It is partially to appeal to young players but there is also the TV appeal factor. My favorite paint job has always been the Pro Staff Tour 90. Black with a yellow stripe on the inside of the racquet head.
whaha my video's are deleted from youtube....

whaha and the teaser video link wont work either
but i have them still on my laptop lol....
I'm not interested in the new 90 but I may be interested in the new 95. I havent tried the Kobra tour yet i may have to check that out also. That racquet is most similar to the racquet I use the APDC.
