How does Yonex sizing work? I wear a 8.5 Adidas. What would that be in Yonney?

the addidas are def. narrower, but i'd try a yonex 8.5

the best thing about the sht304 was the low price, IMO its a better shoe then the 305 and 20$ cheaper
i wouldnt consider it a lower end shoe....

The 304 is the previous model and the price lowered with the 05 came out. I like the 304 better.

Oh, as far as size it runs pretty true I wear 10.5 in Adidas or New balance and the same in Yonex.

There's also a new Yonex SHT 106... but it's newer than the 305. The 304-R is the 304 updated with the round sole and some new looks. The 106 is just a new shoe, as far as I know, the model number refers to its incredible 10.6 ounce weight... that's lighter than my running shoes!

EDIT: There are conflicting measurements of weight: A lil' Birdy told me the weight of the shoe is 10.6. TW reports it (for a size 10.5) as 12.5 ounces. Who knows?!

So do these guys fit just like the old 304's? And does anybody know relative to foot width how they fit? Say more like a D width or a 2E?

Why? Just because you like how 304-R looks or is there something else?

I'm thinking about getting Yonex SHT-305 Silver and have a medium-wide foot with high arch. Hundred bucks is kinda steep, think it's worth it?

Got the 305's I usually wear 9.5 but in this case they were too long, have tog et 9.0 but thats out of stock currently, so I guess 304-R it is.

I usually wear 9.5 in Nike and adidas and 9.5 worked well for me in the Yonex SHT 305s.

i just paid 100 for a pair of the 305's then the 304r came out which was 20 cheaper--
but after breaking in and using the 305's for a couple of months, i have to say its a pretty awesome shoe
it was kinda tight and i had to break the 305 in, unlike the 304 which was fine right outta the box, its(305)also little heavier, but overall more comfortable then the 304 series IMO

Been using my 304R for two weeks now - I'm not impressed, the shoe is light, which is nice, but my foot moves around in the loose toe box during heavy lateral loads.

Is 305 a more stable shoe? Does it fit tighter in the toe box?

How do Barricades compare to 305s? Is the weight difference really noticeable? Is it worth the added stability?

    304-r

Have worn these very light, supportive beauties for 6 weeks on hardcourts. Size runs true, but ordered 1/2 size large for gel insert. Barricades are (very hot) cinder blocks by comparison. Some wear in forefoot tread area. By far the best shoe I've owned. Am looking at the Asics Gel 6 next.
