Saw them yesterday at the local shop, looked good, my next pair of tennis shoes.

I'm still waiting for a couple of the new Yonex polo shirts as well, I saw them on the catalog and looked terrific.

I hope the Asics polo and the new ST come to US as well.

    :)

are you saying it looks even better than the picture? I think this shoe would be perfect if you are laying down asphalt

It has blue glints or accents that the shots don't capture, so its not just a black slab.

No need to review the black ones, they're the same as the red ones.

Best shoes in all categories but durability.

This is my review on the yonex shoe, nothing else needs to be added.

With no durability guarantee, it is highly overpriced.

Will wait a year until they go on clearance sale.

I play on a fast old hard courts, they haven't been resurfaced in a long time, so it is slick and it's not wearing down my shoes as much as other courts, however if you play 12 hours a week I think these shoes would last you no more than 4 months for sure.

I don't think they would want to give the 6 months warranty, people do all sorts of dishonest things to get free shoes as on another thread I read.

It's like this everywhere, the same for tires, the highest performing tires last less.

I prefer these shoes better than Asics, which I used to use wear.

Really? Wow that's just sad. Every pair of shoes I've owned for tennis wore out in 2 months. Granted, I play on a school team so it's obvious that they did wear in eventually. Yeah I read people sanded their shoes but were declined. They're just desperate. :/

I don't like the companies that jack up the price in order to recoup the cost of the warranty replacement.

But Yonex is super expensive, yet comes with no warranty. I have worn 307. They are nice shoes, but nothing that justifies the price tag.

That sticky rubber on the sole wears out fast. there is no way they can offer warranty on that. it is a tradeoff. sticky soft rubber sole, great tracktion but less durability

Does Yonex not make shoes above size 13? I'm basically a 13.5 and almost every other shoe manufacturer makes over 13....and surely with the size of the players today, you would think Yonex would make shoes with sizes > 13. Anyone know?

Bud, there is a bluish Accents throughout the shoes that you can't see in this picture. It must be laser etched in. it looks really cool if you can see that.

I own these shoes. There is not one speck of blue on these shoes. Not one. If you have a blue sky or some blue in your house, it could reflect off the shoes very easily, for sure. But no blue on the shoe itself. They are very comfotable and very good looking shoes if you like black shoes.

I have them too, completely black besides the YY logo, no blue whatsoever, as you said it may have been reflection when the picture was taken since it's bright.

BTW my second par of these, had the red ones lasted me 3/4 months and have this one now, the best shoes (except durability) I have ever worn, closest thing is the Asics Gel resolution, but the perfect fit of these shoes is what have me.

My next pair will be the red ones again.

Best shoes i've ever owned. The comfort, the support, the light weight and the right amount of court traction. I have heel spur issues as well and have to wear a compression sock. With these I’m able to play without one.
