49ers are on the verge of clinching the NFC West. I still think we need to improve on the passing, but with our defense we should be okay assuming we finish the year strong.

The Tebow Train sort of defies logic. Could NFL-caliber defenses really be struggling this much with the stupidity of the Broncos' offense?!

Whatever is going on, it sure is fun to watch. Go Denver!

Never thought Denver and Tebow had a prayer after watching the Detroit game. The Lions devoured the Christians. Resurrection, who knew?

Also Raiders beat the Bears in maybe the ugliest game of the day. Hopefully the Tebow train slows down and we can win the division now that SD seems to be donezo.

Also gotta LOL at Skins fans on my FB celebrating over beating the Seahawks. Skins still suck.

Keep the Faith, Raiders move the ball well until they're in the Redzone. Tebow playing like he is on a crusade.

broncos are the worst team in the league in passing (31st) and they're the best in the league in running (1st). I bet their opponent is going to notice that this week as they prepare for denver.

this looks a lot like the florida gators offense... a LOT.

Their opponents didn't notice this after the KC game where they only threw 8 passes and still won? It's not rocket science...their defense has gotten a lot better and is what is keeping them in games for Tebow Magic to come through in the end. I still don't see them keeping this up for the duration of the season. Eventually something's gotta give.

Hard to believe that these teams will not put 8 guys on the line to stop the run. McGahee really ran well. Broncos can win the next two games against the Chiefs and Da Bears.

All that running scores a low amount of points but chews up a lot of clock. Seems to be keeping their defense more fresh. It will work against the average teams and below but anyone with a potent offense should have an easy time against Denver. The AFC West is one of the softest divisions too. I'm a fan of Touchdown Timmy but unless his accuracy improves, I don't see this gimmick working forever.

Opposing D's don't practice against the option play and are getting caught off balance, but if Timmy keeps it up, they will catch on.

    +1

Perplexing that NFL defenses, even if we are talking about weak teams like Miami, SD and KC, can't solve for Denver's NCAA-level offensive strategy.

Only way Denver makes playoffs is if Oakland disintegrates down the stretch. AFC West stinks this year so its winner unlikely to go far in playoffs anyway.

SD and the Jets should have won their games. It's not like Tebow ran all over them or dominated. The Jets game was a case of Sanchez being worse than Tebow and the SD game was a case of Norv Turner getting conservative when SD was in FG range in OT. Both of those games could have easily been losses but weren't. Taking nothing away from the Broncos of course, a win's a win. I'm just not sure they will keep this up for the duration of the season.

FWIW Tebow only averaged 3 YPC yesterday. I think they are starting to catch on. Minnesota won't be a walkover, they have a solid defense. Their secondary stinks though, so Tebow might have to win with his arm for once.

SD defense really keyed on Tebow, made it easier on McGahee.

I dunno why...but I get the feeling that GB will trip up somewhere down the line. They don't look as unbeatable as that 18-1 Pats team, and even they eventually ran out of steam and found their kryptonite. It may not be until the playoffs, but I don't think GB wins it all.

I guess the Raiders are one of those 'blind, crippled, and crazy' you're referring to...it'd take a perfect game and our D would have to force some turnovers. I don't think our secondary is good enough to slow down Rodgers though.

As with any offence, a fearsome pass rush slows down any OB, until the OL figures it out. And that pass rush has to peak against GreenBay, not before or after the game. That pass rush allows the D to rest, so they can become even more fearsome.
Allow any modern OB the luxury of choosing down to 3rd reciever, your D stays on the field too long, get's tired, and loses aggression.
Ravens vs GB with the Ravens playing like it did against SF.

The Packers may just get crazy with the re-match against the Lions. If they devoured the Christians then the NFL's Messiah may just get got. Or the Packers just pack it in like the Colts.

Big Blue looked pretty damn blind, crippled, and crazy last night. I think their injuries finally caught up with them. All I know is they better turn things around by next week or it may be the 1st NFL game ended due to a mercy ruling.

Seahawks MVP in this game: Vince Young and his 4 INTs. Honorable mention to Marshawn Lynch.

The Dream Team strikes again! And don't you know before the game the talking heads were STILL discussing the Eagles playoff chances! Idiots.

That Lynch is a monster. The play where he emerged out of the pile for a TD was insane.

The NFL's trademark usage policy requires that we use the new official name of the Denver franchise, the Denver Tebows. Congrats fellas.

I knew the Miami game was a trap game. Having your starting LB go out trying to be mafiosa during the week doesn't help. Going to GB next week, hopefully DMC, Moore, and Ford are back or else it will get ugly in a hurry.

This Tebow thing...ugh. I'm just going to let my hate out and say they're the luckiest team in the NFL. Now the Bears top two offensive weapons are hurt and that probably will be another win. I just want him to go away lol.

Yes, although the bad news is that the NFL has just passed a special one-year-only rule to deal with the awful AFC West.

The AFC West champ will not make the NFL playoffs.

Instead, thanks to a special arrangement with the NCAA, the AFC West winner will play Penn State University in the Toto Toilet Bowl on a cold day in January.

Naturally, the game will take place in Cleveland.

Yeah because the AFC West is SOO much worse than the NFC East w/ the aforementioned Cowboys who always suck in December, Giants who do the same, and of course the Dream Team Eagles and that last team not even worthy of mention.

Yep. Another collapse in the 2nd half of the season after a good start. The team that chokes the least will win the NFC (L)East.

Losing by a last second field goal to the best team in the league is not choking. And the refs helped decide the outcome with a f@#$%!g pansy illegal contact call on 3rd and 10 when the Gmen sacked Rodgers with about 6min left.

Agree about the reds helping GB. Saw it last week as well and expect to see plenty of it when they play the Raiders. Doesn't change the fact that you guys have a history of collapsingin the 2nd half of the season, and so does Dallas. That's what I mean.

Yeah, but this year at least they aren't sucking into the 2nd half. Even beset by injuries, they're playing well, but just not geting any breaks..

There were plenty non calls on that drive that could have been called as well.

A few plays later there a blantant IC when rodgers went to throw and the recive got shoved down he tried to pull it in but it slipped out of hand incomplete.

And the Driver touchdown, the DB almost pushed him OB. If he goes OB and the TD doesnt count can the refs then go back and call Interference or Illegal Contact? I dont knwo that particvular rule but I bet they cant.
