yup, T.J Yates is pretty shocking. At first, I thought he would be a joke but it seems like he handles pressure very well- ex: today against bengals and last week against the falcons

I watched the 2nd half of that game. We just shook our heads as Tebow scored right before the 2 minute warning which they had to do with no timeouts. Next followed a terrific onsides kick which resulted in a jump ball that the Broncos did not get. Then they realistically had to have Chicago do 1 dumb thing like run out of bounds to stop the clock. Of course, the field goal had to be insanely long. Then Chicago's running back had what looked like a TD run in overtime only to have a hand poke the ball out from behind. After that, a 51 yard field goal seemed like child's play.

How bad are Indy & KC's offenses?

Put LSU in the AFC West, Alabama in the AFC South and let the Chiefs and Colts play in the Allstate BCS Championship game.

Good summary. A ridiculously unlikely series of events. The 59 yarder tied Prater's career long.

Only thing weirder would have been if the Barrel Man came back from the dead and strolled across the field.

I see Denver pulled out another win (sarcastic "woo hoo"), and that Miami fired Coach Sparano. Wonder who will replace him.....

Tebow sets up Prater (with some help from up top) for another comeback win! Still laughing it up seeing replays on SC. Onto something more current, tonights "game"... That was sad and honestly a little hard to watch. The Rams are absolute garbage.

No, he looks like that stuff my dogs leave in a steaming load every morning. So many off target passes, he was throwing it to the Seattle players. I hope he's color blind cause if not his accuracy is just plain horrible.

Sam. His first game back, rushed back to boot. Rust, rust, rust.
Why not see vids of him last year? You know what he CAN do, and now you know why there is such an emphasis on PRACTICE both during the week and continuity thru the season.
OB is not like running back. You cannot get into the groove unless you have practice time AND games under your back. And RB is not so easy without practice. Look at SF's Gore. He's a shadow of himself since 4 weeks ago. Slight injury, little practice.

I like Tebow, but I'm afraid you're right. Teams will figure out Tebow, plus, look at the schedule he's beat (NYJ the only playoff caliber team). He's got heart, but he's not gonna last as a starting QB; at least for any team that'll win more than 4.

VY's biggest problem by all accounts was his head aint right. Tebow's head is in the right place. And as long as he is a threat tu run defenders cant take plays off. All these combacks are not entirely fluky. The Bears were suckin serious wind at the end of that game becasue all 11 guys have to play hard every down. Denver is runnin the ball well and playing exellent defense, and they seem to not be making mental mistakes.

John Fox also has a trend of winning games coming from behind, Jake Delhomme while he was in carolina, while not a great QB had plenty of come from behind victorys and almost pulled one off in a Super Bowl

The Bears totally choked, Marion Barber in particular. If Barber had just stayed in bounds instead of running out of bounds Tebow likely has less time and a 59 yd FG would have had to be a 70 yd FG or something like that. Then in OT the Bears are driving for at least a FG and Barber might have gotten a TD before he fumbles.

This is without a doubt the longest string of luck I've seen one team get in a season. All of the teams they play seem to have their best players get hurt before or during the game (DMC was hurt when they played us; Shonn Green getting hurt in the Jets game; Cassel getting hurt during the Chiefs game; AP missing the Vikings game; Cutler getting hurt and Forte going down a week before the game last week).

That said, they're probably going to win the division since we've turned into choking dogs the last two weeks. But it's a combination of luck and fluky plays that are helping them. The media sets guys up to see them fall. They did the same thing when Vince Young took the Titans from 0-5 to 8-8 and the playoffs. Tebow's not a franchise QB. I hope Denver thinks he is though.

Not sure why it matters. Coaches, management and players can give whatever glowing tag they want to a QB. Franchise. Best ever. Superman.

If he fails to win after being anointed, the QB will be yanked. That's why I thought it was a mistake for Elway to resist a big shiny vote of confidence in Tebow. Tebow's winning. With the same exact squad that started 1-4.

Lucky? Sure. But, let the guy bask in the Ws. They don't last for long, even for the very best.

Well if you invest time into the guy and he turns out not to be the one, then it could set your franchise back 2-3 years. As a Raiders fan I know that (JaMarcus Russell). Say Denver makes the playoffs this year, they lose in the 1st round, then next year they go 6-10 and Tebow is still putting up mediocre numbers in the passing game. But Denver doesn't get a QB in 2013 and gives Tebow one more year. Then he still doesn't progress and the team misses the playoffs again. Then Denver has to draft a QB and realizes Tebow's not the guy. That's why it matters if he's the franchise guy or if this is just a hot streak ala VY in Tennessee or Fitzpatrick earlier this year in Buffalo.

I know franchise QBs don't just fall from the sky, but the truly great franchises all have had QBs that are elite (Packers, Saints, Pats, Colts). That's why it matters if this is just some flash in a pan fluke or if Tebow will ever develop into a better passer. They've had a remarkable string of good luck, but eventually that runs out and it's time to show whether you really got it or not.

I think you're assuming the conclusion a bit in your argument. The elite QBs got that way because they performed big time when they got their chance. The non-elite QBs that had a chance...well, there are hundreds of them in the junkyard. But, when they had a chance, many of them had as much opportunity as those who ultimately became tagged as elite.

Regardless, today, any QB that gets this big chance will not get it guaranteed for very long. Perform or perish. Ownership, management and fans are as impatient as ever.

The proof of this is the number of top draft choices that fizzled and lower round choices that excelled. And no franchise has a monopoly on picking winners or dogs.

I'll just say this - wins and losses aren't all that matters. If that was the case, then Rex Grossman would still be in Chicago, VY would still be in Tennessee.

So the worst team in the 'worst division in the NFL' beats the 13-0 Packers. Meanwhile the Giants lay another egg in Decemburr. The Weegles could still win the division lol.

Can't risk more injuries if you're GB. Had a few more o-linemen go down today and already have Jennings out.

I'm pretty sure the AFC West teams could beat their own cheerleaders in a football game.

Wouldn't bet the house on it though!
