Hey, we've got some good games coming up this weekend in the NFL:
    eagles at Cowboys
    packers at cardinals
    jets at bengals
    ravens at patriots
Anyone have some predictions? I think the Cowboys, jets, cards, and patriots win this weekend...

I think you're bang on, hard to bet against the Patriots or Cardinals, and the Cowboys and Jets have been having good games so yeah!

    Nah.
Eagles never lose in first round of playoffs, thats fact.
Packers will beat Cardinals, there hot.
Bengals will win, more talented than Jets. I dont care if the jets won 5 of 6 or whatever it was and...
Ravens will win, Welker is out, Brady has been playing injured and there defense sucks. Ravens got Ray Rice who will be more than enough to take down the Pats

    Look at those Jets...

I think Dallas beats Philly, Baltimore beats NE and I think that Green Bay moves on, even though they're on the road.

i'm kinda glad the bengals lost today, though i was feelin' bad for those poor fans freezin' their butts off. but anything to shut that irritating chad johnson up is ok by me.

the only other team i'd like to see gone this weekend is dallas, but they're up 17-7 as i speak, so . . .

I like Chad Ochocinco (like it or not it is his legal name). I think he's good for the game. He's not an jerk like some players (Randy Moss or Michael Vick), all of Ocho's ribbing is good natured.

My Vikings will handle the your 'Boys next weekend. We are undefeated at home this season and Jared Allen will be all over Romo's ass.

what's crackin' me up is the crowd is really booing the pats. i know it's 24-zip, and they're lookin' real shaky . . . but it's just the first 15 minutes. and booing ain't gonna help them climb the mountain and get to the next round.

i thought new england fans were supposed to be smart, die-hards? at least, that's what they're always telling me when i go to massachusetts every summer.

    Saints were 13-0...

You don't play their record, you play them as the are that day. Vikes are in for a tough game.

What a game, Green Bay v. Arizona
38-31 Arizona with 13+ minutes to go in the 4th :)
Rodgers' interception in the openning drive of the game, which led to Arizona touchdown, is the difference right now.

Are those two defenses that bad, or are those offenses that good? Neither team seems able to stop the opposing offense...

    45-38 Arizona with 4:55 left.
Warner and Rodgers are playing out of their mind right now.
This might as well be the Superbowl. :)

The coverage for the most parts are very good. Rodgers and Warner are just putting the balls right on the spots and the receivers are not dropping balls today. :)

A near interception by Arizona with 2:55 left. It could've been the game ender right there.

Oh man...Rodgers screwed up in the end like he did at the start of the game. What a way to end.
And the defense won it for Arizona. :)

Alrighty - some good games over the weekend.

So, for Divisionals - who have we all got?

I've got Colts over Ravens and Super Chargers over the J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets in the AFC.

In the NFC, I've got NO over AZ in a shootout (probably close to the score today) and MN over Dallas in a close one - could go either way, it'll probably be 27-24 or something thereabouts. The decider for me is the Vikes D-Line at home in the Dome - it's extremely loud in there, and going to a silent count makes the Vikes D-Line awfully fast.

You're correct about the Dome- its crazy loud (been there many, many times). Romo will not be able to make changes at the line and due to he sound and Allen and the Williams wall is gonna be all up on Romos ass all game long.

Well, I got 3 out of 4 picks right this weekend - not too bad, I think. (I would never have imagined Brady playing that badly). Here are my picks for next weekend:
    Cowboys over the vikings
    cardinals over the saints
    chargers over the jets
    colts over the ravens

To be honest, even though I like the colts, I would have really liked to have seen the jets knock them out of the playoffs - that would have been great, seeing as how the colts pulled all their starters out of the previous game against them, which basically kept the jets in the playoff hunt.

Wow the refs really sucked and gave the game to the Cardinals. So many calls that they missed ("pass interference in the end zone by Fitzgerland that ended up being a touchdown, facemask on Rodgers on the last play of the game, ton of other crap calls)

    Saints r@pe the Cardinals
    Vikings beat Cowboys, close game
    Colts beatdown the Ravens
Chargers upset by the Jets in a 4th quarter comeback

I'm thinking the 'Boys, as much as I despise their fans, could be going to the Super Bowl. Right now they look like the best team outside of the Chargers.

    My Picks:

Cardinals beat the Saints - New Orleans looked done to end the season, and I think the Cardinals can torch that D and outscore the Saints.

Cowboys beat Vikings - I think Favre will feel the pressure of Dallas' D and throw a few picks to give Dallas the game.

Ravens over the Colts - I don't like what Indy did in not going for 16-0. I think that was a horrible decision, and one that will affect them into the playoffs. They don't have any momentum, and the Ravens looked great today. I think Ravens D can make enough plays to win this game for them.

Chargers over Jets - This will be a blowout. Jets D is good, but Chargers O is better and the Jets can't score enough to beat the Chargers in SD.

well, i gotta say that az/gb game was out of control. i haven't had that much fun watching an nfl game in i don't know how long. i hope next week's games are almost as fun. the bcs championship game was such a let-down, i think i'm still fiending for some good football.

If the Cowboys play like they did Saturday then they might have a chance against the Vikings. My heart wants the Saints to go to the Super Bowl, but I don't think they will.:( Go Colts.
