I'd go for the second one (grey mesh) !
I like the one with the grey mesh too, and they're perfect since I'm going to Texas A&M next year and they're sort of school colors team crimson was as close to maroon as I could get.
So it's confirmed! You can use a Voucher for NikeID shoes! Just got these bad boys and I'll take a picture when I get them in a month
Glad I saw this thread.....had to buy the shoes. Yes, very unique colors .
Nike's standard offerings have sucked lately.
Here're my NIKEiD-ed 2k11s.
You may have seen them in this other thread where there's talk about the specific colours.
I just saw this thread and had to post them here too for obvious reasons
This may have been in here someplace but for anyone who has worn both the standard tongue and the custom bootie model can you tell me if there is any difference in fit especially as to how shoe laces up at top. Higher, lower, tighter, same? I have a high instep and am unable to get regular 2K11 to lace up in right spot. They end up too high on instep. With 2K10 I was able to just skip top hole altogether but has not been case with 2K11. Thanks!
Just an update, They started "building" my shoes today. Hopefully I'll get them a bit faster than expected, but that seems kind of unlikely
Let us know when your pair arrives ! I'm curious to see how that "Team Crimson" red looks like !!
Oh yes! I will take very many pictures!!
Can't decide between which design.
Gold + Yellow for school pride.
The one with the black mesh and Yellow laces is nice!
So they Just shipped my shoes today, which I orderered on March 17th. Not too bad, but the shoes are being shipped from CHINA! that's a long ways away
No, not too bad. Should come next monday or tuesday. My Free Run +3s were shipped on a wedsday and came on monday from Vietnam.
SWEET! I can't wait to get them! I'll take lots of pictures cuz I'm pretty sure they're gonna be some sweet looking kicks
Be careful opening that box. I've heard of some nasty surprises coming with some ID's like that.
I'm pretty sure that all Nike ID's come from either China or Vietnam...
yup. I would like to know the nasty suprises that you hear borreli!
Spiders! Bugs, etc. I've seen some interesting photo's. Probably pretty rare cases though.
Hmm... I'll keep that in mind I guess haha
I just thought I would stop by and say that my shoes are coming in tomorrow!!! Can't wait!!!
HERE THE ARE!! The laces and swoosh are supposed to be the same color, but the laces are very maroon colored, whereas the swoosh is a bit more dark reddish, but overall, very good looking shoes!!!
Nice Good work!
Nice. How'd they fit? Did you get the tour size or the regular true fit? I've been wanting a pair for the clay but haven't been able to convince myself to drop the $172.00 shipped for them.
Very cool! My wife approves (she's an Aggie). Whoop!
I got the tour fit and they fit nicely. They are actually very similar to the courtballistec 3.3 as far as the arch and forefoot go, but the outsole and heel is a bit different.
Very nice !!! Well done.
Still not liking the extra-durability-layer though !
I don't know why they call it extra durability... It's more like extra support and keeps the shoe pretty firm in the forefoot upper. I don't mind it that much and think it adds a bit more uniqueness compared to the normal 2k11. I can't compare though, because I have never owned the retail 2k11. Normally I get shoes with the warranty.
Thinking of getting these.
Can anyone comment on size EE fit vs Regular?
hey bought a pair of these awhile ago and forgot to mention that they lasted me exactly one month and five days before there were completely unplayable
"unplayable"? you mean the sole wore through?
Just picked up these discarded ID's for $69.99. I've been wanting a pair for clay but just couldn't commit to the ID price tag. I'll post pics of these along with my other recent pickup's in the other shoe thread soon.
Edit: And on a side note, looks like Nike has discontinued the 2k11 ID.
