well i used the Smash last year (got it for free cuz i went to a nike tennis camp) and they werent bad, not fantastic durability, pretty lightweight. However, i'd have to say they are waaay overpriced and i would definitley suggest a shoe like the New Balance 780 (really sweet shoe) or the Fila Torneo over it,

Thanks 300Gkid :D yesterday I bought these shoes in a store with 20% discount for the mother day's, I was so lucky  I'll use this shoes for the Gym training, for tennis I'm using the Barricade III (they're hard), I'll check the New Balance and Fila ;)

I just bought this shoe because my asics were completely worn down. I can't wait to try em out. I have to agree, they look pretty good.

I don't know how you could say they are ugly. They aren't the best looking shoe but they have a classic tame look to them.

I wear a 10 and it has a nice cushioned feel to it. It's not a light speed shoe, but it fits nicely and I enjoyed wearing them.

I agree with you :D excellent comfort, cushioning and fit. This shoe is even better than Adidas Barricade IV (in comfort and cushioning) ;)

traction is that that great either
    maybe it still needs break-in

Since no one answered my question about whether there will be a new Resolve coming out, I ordered these. They seem a little less stable than the resolve and they seem a little more narrow, but all in all not a bad shoe.

The only thing I wish was that they shaved some ounces if possible.

i am a heavy toe dragger since i alway try to get balls that are impossivle to get so i slide and grind my shoes against hard courts
and so far maybe 10 hours of use there is no wear on the shoe yet...
but maybe this is too little time to tell
but i can tell you my last resolve lasted me around 5 month before i completely wore throught the court armor

it's no that heavy at all
is really comfy, actaully have a "glove like " fit"
fits better than resolve if you tried the shoe before
