I love these shoes as general gym shoes or walk about town shoes.

But for athletic tennis, they get no love.

They are very wide, sit a bit too high, and generally feel clunky and slow.

It's almost like I'm walking in snow with snowshoes: slow trudging steps.

They are just really slow to react when tennis is all about quick reactions and cuts.

    ---

For street wear, they're great, but now I'm back to square one for tennis shoes.

I may have to spring for Prince t22's in a month or two, even though they are relatively pricey.

    Rule #1 for me:
-Never wear any athletic shoes for casual wear.
    Rule #2:
-Tennis shoes are MADE for tennis, and ONLY tennis shoes can be used to PLAY tennis.
    Rule #3:
-Running/training shoes do work at a degree, but do not help in the long run. Either replace them within a month, or wear out the soles within 2 weeks.
    Rule #4:
    -Nike FTW.

Just a recommendation, you should really try to find a pair of Vapor VI. Very great tennis shoe, and great looks!
