Well after digging back, over the course of 2010, Nike has released a surprising amount of colorways for their shoes. For 2010, Nike released, as far as I've been able to count, NINE different colorways in the cb 2.3, EIGHT colorways in the LL vapor, and FIVE colorways in the Breathe 2K10. These are very high numbers compared to several years ago when the number of breathe cages or Vapor V colorways ranged from about 5 to maybe 7 for the whole year, and at the time these were Nike's two flagship shoes.
Is this the type of trend one might expect Nike to continue with for 2011? Do more colorway options give players more creativity in choosing a shoe that fits their tastes? Please share your thoughts or predictions for 2011 :)

I think its pretty obvious that it's nike's way of raking in the $$$.

As long as people would keep eating up tennis shoes then Nike will just keep meeting the demand.

The only thing I don't like is how Nike intentionally makes its colors clash with colors from any other season. The only colors that went well together were the Indian Wells / Miami and the French Open colors.
