Can anyone compare the fit of the Federer shirts from this year?

I have the 08 French Open and 08 US Open (Manhattan Polo) and I've found the Manhattan Polo to run small. Can anyone compare this year's Australian Open and French Open polos? Do they run as small as the Manhattan Polo?

I tried searching but could not find anything.

    Thanks,
    Chopin

Thanks. Did you also find the Manhattan Polo to run small?

I have the manhattan and the french 08 in XL, the oz 09 in L and XL, and the 09 French in L.

I think I can wear either L or XL with the 09 stuff, but prefer the XL in the 08 stuff.

I can try to get fit pics if you want.

OK! It's great that people can be helpful on these boards--thanks again! Yeah I'm 5'10" and usually take medium but with the Manhattan Polo, I think I could take a large, so I just wanted to see how this year's stuff is running. I'm thinking of buying the purple Australian Open Polo next.

I would say with the 08 stuff, go up one full size, with the 09 stuff, go up 1/2 size.

So if you are right on the edge of M/L then get L in the 09, but if you are right in the middle of M normally, then you would probaly fit in either.

All the Federer stuff seems to be cut to be flattering to someone of my build with bigger chest/shoulders and thin waist and avg arms.

So if you have a bit of extra luggage around the waist, you may be more comfortable in a larger size too.

    Anyone try this one?

    http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/descpageMANIKE-NMFACTP.html

I'm going to be ordering to Australia so hopefully I can get the size right the first time around.

Jolly, I'd say my body shape is quite similar to yours, however, I've developed a bit more (not much) in the waist this couple months due to exams.

How much room around the waist do the L's allow for?

The picture of me in the white top, with the Navy/Green shorts is a Large.

    I wear 32" waist.

So I would say not a lot.

Thanks for that. Hrmm, I've nevered actually measured myself, but I wear W:33" jeans quite comfortably. My stomach is still smaller than my chest even after these two months of doing absolutely nothing but study. Given that I'm about 186cm, with a chest about the same as yours, would you recommend a size L or XL?

Awesome. If you can, tell me what the fit is like.

I can wear both sizes so I thnk you will be ok with either, and I wear 41ish jacket.

Since you are a bit bigger than me in the waist, I would get the XL just to be safe.

Thanks for that. I guess I'll go with XL then (which luckily enough is the only size still in stock).

I'll probably lose the waist in a month and a half, I'm guessing you dont find the XL's too baggy?

Oh forgot to ask this (which is a bit off-topic given the title of the thread), how do the shorts fit?

As I've mentioned, I wear (waist) size 33 jeans, could fit in 32's.

Should I go L or XL?

I don't have the top ones, I have the other Athelete ones from the french season. Would go with Med for me.

As for the long check, I got med in those and was swimming in them. I got the Oz ones though, not those.

Wait... M too large? I was about to go L or XL... oookay.

Actually I just checked the shorts I'm wearing now, apparently I do wear M. Hrmm. Didn't expect that given my shirt size.

J011y, for the FO '07 Polos (red), do you prefer L or XL for those?

Also, for the FO '08 Polos, I should go a size up from what I normally wear?

For the FO 07 polos L is perfect fit XL looks like I am wearing my dad's shirt, but that is what they had. For the 08, I would go up a size.

    Does anyone have this polo?

Is it smaller than normal since it is an 08 polo?

Should I try to find one a size larger than what I usually wear?

I have been looking nearly everywhere but the Masters 08 polo is impossible to find in most sizes...

    Which polo is this?

It looks like AO 2009 but in black or charcoal?

I found it to be the same as the AO 08 polo. I like that fit though, so no real issue. same size in both
