It's very strange. I was informed that the wristbands fabric content was 94% nylon, 4% rubber, and 1% spandex but TW changed the fabric content cotton mixed fabric.....

    Also added several more colors......

we might need to see actual packages or wristbands to confirm it.

    Now it says

    Content: 74% Cotton, 21% Nylon, 3% Rubber, 2% Spandex

Now we don't know for a FACT that the wristbands available at IW were premier right? There is zero labeling on the package, thus we have no way of knowing for sure.

Also the white and crimson just look like the bandana and wristband colors that Dannysul posted he got from miami.

Just checked TWE, that is the same fabric content of the wristbands they've been selling for years. Nike has had a lot of different types of wristbands over the years. I only have one pair of them, but the worst are the all cotton ones. I have those in glass blue as I believe they were limited release before they started selling the premiers at regular tour events. TWE has been getting wristbands for awhile now. They are higher in spandex and nylon content however they are not premier.

I think this is just a mistake from the TW website (kind of copy/paste).
It can't be the same composition like the non-premier wristbands (jus look at the photos and zoom-in, this is obvious the premier ones are made with a different material).

I think they are, like Kim said, 95% nylon, 4% rubber and 1% spandex.

Please, as soon as someone here receive them, post a photo or tell us about the material.
    Many thanks in advance.

There are posters who exclusively go to IW to visit and acquire on-site only wristbands and handbands, then they post them on the "Post your tennis gear" thread. :)

No I get that, and I would too, but my obsession stops at "oh these look awesome, I'll pick up some".

People are arguing about composition of the thing and whatnot...

I think the others were meant for later in the season. The white/citrus are for wimbledon. TW, as opposed to TWE, releases the clothing in batches closer to when certain tournaments start, whereas TWE just usually releases all the clothing at once.

Yes for sure. Those were wimbledon colors.

I know they had fed's wristbands for wimbledon, white/citrus. They also had Rafa's white/gym red.

    I'm not going to lie

I never wear mine. Once you wear them they lose shape and aren't as nice. The threads also pull easily so I'm very careful with them. I need to start buying pairs two at a time.

Wristbands won't make you play better haha
It's all about durability and comfort. Nylon and rubber materials are much softer feeling and last twice longer than cotton one. I made similar wristbands for my tennis apparel lines and even last longer than premier.
Usually Cotton cotton wristbands become rough after 4 more washes but nylon and rubber mixed fabric is still good after 10 washes.

Again, I understand people getting excited about a special color and what not. I've made requests to pick up a few IW Nike wristbands, because they looked cool, but that's where my obsession ends with them.

Things I consider when shopping for wristbands:
    1) Does it stay on my arm? If so, then buy.
    2) Does it absorb sweat? If so, then buy.
If it looks cool, then that's gravy on top. :)

Some of you guys talk about comfort as if some wristbands are actually can open the skin when you wipe it across your forehead.

And I don't know how you guys wash your wristbands to the point where durability becomes a factor. I wash my wristbands after each use, Nike "Premiere" or not, they've lasted me well over a year.

Honestly it's just all about the rarity. It's rare, thus its collectable. A lot of people resell these for great ROI. Look at the Peach/White White/Peach wristbands. I've seen those go for 100$ on the bay. That's 10x what they were worth originally.

I noticed the same thing but don't really mind. I used buy 2 of the same if I like the color so I would have 1 that I would wear and 1 for backup but the premiers are really durable so now I just buy 1 in case I ever feel like wearing teal wristbands LOL
as for duability, I had retail Federer AO 2010 Marina Blue wristbands, and after around 4 washes they fuzzed up and discolored a little. Same with my retail Nadal AO 2011 White and Crimson ones. But the premiers I got at indian wells and us open just shrink a little. Not that I have crazy sensitive skin and want the softest cotton possible, but if I'm going to buy wristbands might as well spend 1 or 2 dollars more and get good ones right?

If the shirt is grey, the shorts are red and the shoes grey/red, why add turquoise? Wouldn't it make more sense to wear the red bandana with this outfit?
I don't understand why Nike does this. :(

By the way, the content of the premier WBs on TW "disappeared"... So I am to the mind that they are indeed premier wristbands. As nothing is written on the packaging (same case as the new packaging from IW and Miami), TW made the supposition it was the same content as the normal WBs. But then, by reading the band of fools we are (;)), they understood they have another quality and removed the initial content (without writing the new content as no one really knows what they are made of).

I don't think Tennis Warehouse understands what they have brought upon the world by releasing these:twisted::twisted::twisted:

I hope to get a pair soon. I also hope this becomes a regular thing.

I have received mine today (Turq/Grey and Violet/Poison)

They are indeed premier ones (95% nylon, 4% rubber and 1% spandex).
So good news to see some premier WBs available for the mass (although it is always a good feeling to hunt them, to find them and to finally get them!! Just buying is annoying ;))

No PAC reference on these 2 sets.
Reference NNN51545OS for the violet/poison and NNN51459OS for the turq/grey. (so probably color codes 545 and 459)
    So no promo items.

I thought that the 2012 of nike was great for both roger and rafa...

Probably the only shirt that I didn't liked was the Federer's US Open day crew (but the cinci one were perfect).

Best bandana colourway, Sport Turq, has been dropped.
The same happened in the spring collection with Rafa's VOLT jacket

Definitely violet but it's very very light, lighter than the shirt that these are supposed to match really. I wish they had also released midnight navy/poison green wristbands as well, but I am content.

Yup they are indeed 94% Nylon, 5%Rubber, 1% Spandex. Says it right on the back of the package. These must be TW exclusive because nike.com and TWE do not have these, nor do other tennis outlets.

Yeah, I don't think they are. I do not know why, but Nike will sell many items elsewhere but never offer them for sale on their website. Weird!
