Price is a joke! Jacket is pretty cool though. How many can they really sell at that price level?

frickin' ugly. Looks like someone threw paint on it. And this coming from someone who wore ALL the Agassi Challenge Court stuff in the 80s.

I had all of the Agassi sneakers, polos, shorts ,etc. To this day I still have most of them. I'm happy anytime they bring back some of the vintage line back. The lava splatter is a little bit much but that back is awesome. The 86 on it seems to represent his rookie year.

Would look better if there weren't those dots. Paint splatter designs are nice unless they have a bunch of dots like here. They did it wrong.

    What air tech shirts

Maybe I'm reading your post wrong, but did you say that Nike re-released air tech challange shirts? If so where can I score one?

$450 for buying a gay jacket. Nike is breaking into a new market.

Literally. They finally make something unique and Agass-iconic for the gay and lesbian community .... why get negative on it, right?

So what if it is a little expensive? Gay dudes have no kids, so there's plenty of disposable income. It's just great marketing.

Mind you, it's for the gay-dude sports fan. Not stylish at all, but it's the equivalent of those baggy zebra/tiger triped pants from 20 yrs ago, LOL!

They did release the Court Challenge burning ball shirts last year. This year they released shirts with the lava on it for the ATC hybrids. Those shirts sold out but they were online for a while.

It's a shame Nike is charging that kind of price. Why is Nike going back to bring out the old Agassi stuff? Didn't they stop sponsoring Agassi by the end of his career? What a disgrace...

I think this jacket is pretty awesome (to actionflies: and i'm not gay). But the price is a joke indeed. I wonder if they sell any at this price. Then i wonder how quick they'll be on sale...

Nah. That's just a number that happened to be the yr Dre turned pro. Dre's got no rights to that number.

It's SO Nike. Also, have you noticed the swoosh on the retro Tacchini design Mac is wearing in the latest Nike ads? So nike. {yes, full disclosure, I am not a fan of Nike]

It would be interesting to read a contract.

I bet Andre would have no claim to the Challenge Court logo just like Pete or ther others would have no claim to the court logo.
Andre would have a claim to the mid-late-90s A logo. But of course, they're not going to use that.

Nike is doing something right, 2 sizes are already sold out. I guess the economy has no affect on it.

It's only famous because Andre made it what it is when he wore the ATC lava's.

Not sure. Maybe they'd have to part with a cut of that revenue. Or maybe they just wanted to avoid obfuscation.

it would have been nice if they could have used the flaming ball logo on the ATC III retros a couple of years ago. speaking of agassi retros, does anyone know what nike's retroing for next year.

first of all that's a hat made by the company New Era, not Nike. Secondly, I am Andre's #1 fan.
