Does anybody have the new vapor VI oreos? If so, does it get the marks and spots like the others have had in the past? Because I got mine, but im not wearing it due suspicions I have.

Thanks for the heads up! Can't wait to wear them to school when school starts from winter break! But I can't wear them, because my dad bought it for me. Gotta wait till Christmas....

They don't spot....they are remarkably durable except for the soles.
I recomend wearing two pairs of socks, tying them tight, and wearing them around the house, and even to sleep.

Does jogging help out the break in period to make it more comfortable faster? I probably will wear 2 pairs of socks, wear them around the house but probably not to sleep. I'm thinking of jogging with them in the first 2 days. Is this a good suggestion?

    black socks

I've had the Oreos since they came out and have always worn them with black socks. As a result some blue spots have shown on the white portion of the shoe from sweating in the black socks. Overall the shoes are starting to look very blue instead of white. Keep it in mind.

I had a yellow spot appear on the left toe area of these shoes. I sent them back to Nike because it wouldnt wash away. I decided to stick to barricades.

of course it does, jogging is the best way to make a break in to your shoes, better than sleeping with your shoes on

How does blue come out when wearing black socks? Of course, I won't be seriously wearing them until the Spring. Which means, probably I won't get any spots, hopefully. I think that from hearing the spots appearing on the new oreo vapors, the old stock might've been thrown out and the new stock is fixed. Hopefully, I won't get the bad ones. Christmas HURRY UP!

Do not jog with new Vapors, they will hurt if they are a tight fit. You will just have to see what I mean if you end up doing it.

I've worn Oreos intensely on many different surfaces (ok 3) for 3 months now exclusively with black Dri Fit socks and there is no hint of sock color leakage.

Not jog, alright then. Thanks for the help though, and looking at your oreos really helped me believe in what you say. Kudos to you Joel. I guess they aren't very durable to intense training only. As for me, I'm expecting they'll last me about 7-9 months.

its unfortunate Nike doesn't give the V6 a 6 month durability guarantee. The rest of the shoe is veddy veddy durable. Probably the best, easiest to keep clean. After a ton of use they still look good for me. Best $85 I ever spent but I'm gonna try Barricades or the new Ballistics next. I need warrantys.

They say 5.5+ players wear out the V6 the most in this area due to perfect form and technique. I studied where Roger wears his out the most and focused on this area.

I see that in the front, it wears off very quickly. Nike should've made it alittle more thick for durability. But all in all, I guess it's a pretty good shoe.
